Sasuke Can Stand His Ground Against Minato

I don't think this is a fair fight. If Minato lived, he would have developed even more advanced jutsu especially where it talks about in the manga that he was attempting to put his own elemental nature in the Rasengan. Yeah, stuff like that.

I don't think it's a fair fight. Minato only has Flying Thunder God Tech, Rasengan, that "Shinigami Jutsu" (I forget the name), and some ninja tools. Sasuke at his current level would win, but Minato would put him through the ringer.

Sasuke is 16.

look at it this manner if sasuke was to fight minato i 100 percent thiink sasuke will win or at least draw with the flash mainly because

1.Sasuke has sharigan which can predict movement and motions so it is expected minato ftg will be figured out

2.if minato decides to use death god seal to kill both him and sasuke ,sasuke can counter with izangi which turns it into an illusinon it is stated that sharigan users can do izangi

3.If sasuke is forced he will use kirin and since minato does not have susano like itachi he will try to dodge it and fail except u telling me that minato is faster than sound and light then he cannot dodge kirin.zetsu stated it is undodgeable

4.sasuke has susano which now can throw amaterasu and wield a sword with amatersau not forgetting it is a nice defense

5.u might bring up the matter that minato is smarter true but remember sasuke was top of his class and best when young so he too is talented

6.has chidori to combact rasengan

With all this facts i have stated i personally feel sasuke can beat or atleast draw with the flash.

as for the sharingan.....madara had it tooo.... though he waz able to predict minato's movement, still minato was able to beat him....moreover......SASUKE CANT USE IZANAGI!!!!.....
.3rdly...minato can dodge NYTHING!!! he cant teleport so comeonnn.....
.kirin is nothing....minato can even send some massive attack to some other place via his dimension jutsu like he did with 9tails laser mass attack!!!!!!!.

hey thunderbolt your threads are always very logical and cant help but agree with all of them ^_^ . its just too bad theirs too many fanboys on this forum , its almost impossible to get it in to em :shrug: . anyway to your overall point, i see it as because naruto has surpassed minato (so says pa frog) and sasuke is a clear equal to naruto , so simply put sasuke>minato . all sasuke has to do is cover the area with amaterasu and fire up susano, then minato will just throw in the towel because he knows theirs no way of doing anything .

1) Because shadow clones:-May be after use inferno/Blaze style by Sasuke may be Minato can't hit Sasuke but his shadow clones could because there is not fear to die.



2) Since Minato is one of most gifted shinobi so it is quit reasonable that master Jiraya teach him senjutsu which boost him so much.



3) Minato known as fast learner and we know he is good in fuinjutsu of Uzumaki clan.



4) I think ftg is combination of summoning jutsu and fuinjutsu since summoning jutsu is also space-time ninjutsu and Minato have stronge chakra so ftg not need much chakra so using it again and again will not harm Minato.



5) Sasuke may be powerful but Minato is way too experienced than Sasuke as every technique has weakness so his Susanoo also has some weakness which could be consider that Minato know because he is most curious person on every technique so he should already try to figure out weak point of high technique early on his free times.



6) If Minato use Riper death seal to seal Sasuke then Sasuke can't use Izanagi because when someone get into hand of riper then his jutsu will seal at that instant you can see that on Naruto episode 73. So using Izanagi by Sasuke will not happen.


Those are my point on why Minato will win.
So either Minato will win (98%) or there will be tie(2%)
well we not know all power of the EMS which makes 2% chance of draw.

thats what im saying yes. naruto displayed intelligence and some hardcore strength in that fight, the only thing he didnt have is speed. remember naruto has a sense of danger while in sage mode so if minato can somehow get close to naruto a dodge can be made easily for naruto.

Ok ok look at it like this, WHEN did Pa say he surpassed Minato SPECIFICALLY, he said he surpassed his predeccesors, but minato was one of a kind, he said in pain fight( i dont read manga) he reminds him of those 2. i highly doubt sasuke would win, personally i HATE sasuke and started to after he went wacko with the 5 kage arc... , hes very skilled but i doubt hes able to beat minato

Surpassing someone doesn't mean they will defeat them in a fight. This isn't DBZ where if you're stronger than the other guy you win the fight. Naruto has surpassed his father in power, but i still don't think he would defeat him in a fight. Same thing with sasuke and itachi. In naruto it's how you use your abilities that make you so powerful, which Minato and Itachi are experts at.
