I want to say things about our current situation from a rational standpoint, without it being taken as an appeal to emotion, so I will measure my words carefully.
I think the mafia have managed to outmaneuver us and divide us pretty well. I also think given how divided we are and how we haven't had a success yet, it's even harder to fight back, because we feel defeated.
There is no longer any margin for error or room to make mistakes. Trust is at its lowest point and so is morale.
I think there's value in emotionally letting go, because it creates the kind of calmness and distance from the situation that helps you examine it rationally.
I also think we have varying styles of play and levels of experience and also cultural expectations on how to play.
Whoever is on the town team we are a hodgepodge of very different people with very different ideas and expectations.
I would rather focus on what we can achieve together, rather than what we haven't yet.
Can we rationally narrow down who is the most likely to be a wolf, and all pull the trigger, together?
We don't have anything left to lose, except the attempt. And an attempt is better than not trying.
This is what I suggest, in concrete terms-
1. You're all aware that Naomi is mechanically, a townie.
2. Resolve my alignment, to the person. Am I town, or am I a wolf?
Please decide, and then vote accordingly if you think I am.
If you don't think I am a wolf, then you have a town pile that has 3 names in it out of 4.
You, me, and Naomi.
You need one more name, but even then, you have a 3 in 4 chance of hitting a wolf if you vote anyone else.
That's pretty good odds, especially, blind.
Will you all do this exercise with me?
It's going to be a little easier for me, because I know I'm town, so I need one name I can trust, and then one more name I can trust.
And failing that, even if we can't come to a consensus based on that,
what if, one person, is scumcased and we all concur that person is a wolf.
doesnt matter what our other leans, fears, or concerns are. We just hit the wolf.
And we do that one day at a time until we win, or we lose.
That's a good game plan, correct?
