Basically compiling this thread to discuss the correlations between Boruto and the Witcher series and how (IF they pull it off) will work VERY well for the Boruto series are the Witcher plot was amazing.
1st Relation: Alternate dimension entities.
The whole "Different dimension" but stronger plot is already prevalent in this series.
Byakugan inheritors in Naruto Dimension (Hyuuga)
Byakugan inheritors in unknown dimension (Otsutsuki)
Obviously the scale of strength is much different AND Otsutsuki can travel between dimensions.
Elves in Witcher Dimension: (Aen Seidhe)
Elves in Unknown Dimension: ( Aen Elle / Wild hunt Elves)
Any one who read the books or played the games know the scale of strength is much different AND Wild Hunt elves can travel between dimensions
2nd relation: Faction comparison
Other than Otsukuki and (Aen Elle / Wild Hunt Elves) here are another major faction that shows similar qualities.
Private organization that specializes in collecting, researcing and developing jutsu. Uses it's influence secretly and relies on each member to work independently and collectively in insuring the goals of the Clan are met.
Private group of witches that specialize in collecting, researching and developing magic. Uses it's influence for profit while secretly meeting their own goals and ambitions. Mainly gains finances from support or aiding empires. While most members work independently they will gather as a collective to insure shared goals are met.
While this 2nd relation point is a stretch i do find it quite similar especially since personalities for certain members of each world are identical. Anyways on to the next point.
3rd Relation: Purposes
Boruto: Otsutsuki
Travel between dimensions conquering worlds and absorbing chakra to increase their powers. Also the occasional enslaving as with Kaguya's situation.
Witcher: Aen Elle / Wild Hunt
Travel between dimensions capturing / slaughtering others and ultimately plundering worlds before the world becomes inhabitable (White frost)
While there EXACT purposes are a little different, the overall concept which is travelling and plundering seem to be spot on.
Boruto: Kara
While there own agenda is unknown we do know they show interest in any person or thing that display extraordinary power. Especially Juinjutsu / abilities. They are currently avoiding Otsutsuki all together so it is quite possible they have encountered them many times before or do not consider them a threat.
Witcher: Sorcesses Lodge
They are all for the most part in it for the political manipulation as a whole but each member are looking for the same thing Kara is looking for. Any object or person that has extraordinary abilities. Much like the Otsutsuki, the Lodge typically avoids the Aen Elle in the witcher series UNTIL it is too late and they can no longer "Avoid" them.
4th relation: Important Character comparisons:
Dimension Travelling:
Boruto: Sasuke
Witcher: Ciri
In the witcher series. Ciri is hunted relentlessly by the Aen elle in hopes of obtaining her power. Later after she is discovered in the actual witcher world. The lodge tries to take her to research / user her power for their own purposes.

Essentially, with the 4 relations i mentioned above and based on my knowledge of Witcher series. I hope the following takes place within the Boruto series IF the writer decides to follow the witcher plot paths:

Brilliant plot which is why i think if Boruto wants to be saved they should go FULL witcher copying
