Lmao. You really are the epitome of delusional.
Europe is mess and a horrible example of how a country should be.
"Europe is a mess and a horrible example of how a country should be." < Read carefully. Nowhere in this sentence shows or says, or even remotely conveys that i said Europe was a country. It says that it is a mess and a horrible example of how a country should be. A "country", such as England, for example. England is a country.

Please seek help. I'm not trying to mock your ego.

Two peas in a pod. :lmao:
oh? but it's true tho.. take it from someone who works for marketing (research and all) and who's have psychologist contacts as it is an integral part of being in marketing.

People are easy to manipulate. Just take what is going on with Pewdiepie and his war against Twitch Thot for example. She is a thot and yet she victimizes herself to get coverage and reap profits.

Many news articles or just media, regardless of whether it is right or left wing, have covered and purposely misinterpret things just for the click-baits.

It's today's "You wouldn't believe what happens next" headlines that were so popular years ago.

but hey, be brain dead and feed on whatever it is we dish out for you there.

I can't say about what Fountain's view or what he/she does.

You're pretty much arguing for racism to slide. With this same ridiculous reasoning, someone could argue they shouldn't report the wrongdoings of anyone because it gives them publicity or because they don't report the wrongdoings of "that" group. Ridiculous. Racism is a hot topic BECAUSE it is a serious thing. @Bold, At what point do you consider blacks aren't some monolithic group? I don't know what instance you're referring to, but it isn't true to many nor this one.
You misunderstand.

Racism is truly an issue. The issue is how the media handles it. The bias of it. That's why. Go work for companies that write these articles or just talk to them. They are normal people who were employed that never fully embrace what they do yet they do so as that it their livelihood.

We, the media, do not care about what our articles entail. As long as our content is within the set parameters of what we are expected of, all we have to do is meet the deadline.

If that confuses you then an analogy. If I were to work on a black newsprint, I'd take whatever content I could find that is new and in regards to black people and make the content from there. If I were to find a success story of a black person vs a black person "victimized" I'd definitely cover the latter and make sure to paint it with as much bias as possible.

News/media are biased AF. Learn this. We no longer care. We care about our jobs and meeting deadlines.

Because from what I've seen, and what people know but don't want to say it out loud on the risk of sounding racist, the black community has self-inflicted racism.

If you think african-american culture is about being a gangsta, you're part of the problem. To answer your @bold statement, no I do not see them as a monolithic group.

I often discern them into regular people vs degenerates. I will openly and happily call a black degenerate nigga just so people will get used to the idea that blacks and niggas aren't the same.

I hate seeing blacks treated this way but I also hate how whites are always being demonized.

I work in marketing too and you're argument falls apart since every marketing department has different goals.

Not all marketers bend the truth to get a story or product out there.

just played yourself mate. but hey, if whatever marketing you're in doesn't have a "bending the truth to get a story or product out there" then you're in the wrong one. I say BS because that's marketing 101.

We are influencers. We research on what people want therefore we give them what they want. We want them to want our product or story. The **** are you on about?

But hey, just contact journalists then. News casters and the like. Since you're in marketing, surely you have those insider contacts. That'd be easy to get confirmation.

Unless you just mean that we don't want to put out there where people can sue us? Then I agree. But that does not mean we aren't bias. We could be but that does not sell as much as outrageous things that are trending right now.

Like they, MTV, said when they got big: "*** sells" and now racism, SJW are what's in.
IDK what kind of cocoon you live in but it must be nice to have your side be always right.

Notice how my argument consisted on attacking both sides and giving a credible insight and you're all "well I work in marketing too and I'd say there are many departments and I say that's not how it is" which is kind of ironic since you've said marketing has different departments.

But yeah, I'd recommend to actually talking to people that have different views and actually take in what they put out for once, like a marketer does.

Audiences/clients respond to honesty. You can market the truth and still be successful.

Bias exists everywhere. There's no single individual or organization without "bias." It's really just a matter of being able to control that bias as best you can. And being biased doesn't mean that your views are wrong either.

Yes, there are news stories and organizations that are disingenuous, but you're applying that logic to the idea that black people aren't being discriminated.

You were generalizing that all marketers are the same and used that generalization to downplay racism.

I get the top segment but I don't view it as a deal breaker so long as I still hold belief in there being a legitimate issue to be found. If you think it's worth trailing behind beyond an amount of questionable accusations it leads to, you can elaborate more. Just as the article Lightbringer linked could easily be smokescreened by rules or the black men being told to exit Starbucks by the owner's rights, I don't think these are always invalidating or even there in many cases.

I still get mixed feelings from your easiness on how others view groups though despite you not falling along yourself. This could only demonize whites in the same way criminal statistics can demonize blacks. Context is key to deciding the validity of any, and, after that's done, the next step is not attributing wrongdoings to random people. Someone would have to do the red bold before they could racist-ly claim a random colored/white person is shady. That partially ties into why I can't get behind your "self-inflicted racism" despite acknowledging that blacks themselves have a hand in it. It goes well beyond blacks simply forming an image of themselves.

Uh, no. Your sentence still doesn't make any sense to what you said.

If you are denying what you said about Europe then why are you using the word "and" as if you are combining the first part of the sentence with the second? You literally are highlighting how Europe is such a horrible place, and then you go on to compare it to "how a country should be", which means you are obviously comparing or claiming that Europe is a country, because you are admitting that Europe is a mess and shouldn't be "this way" compared to "other countries". Why even add that second part to the sentence? You are just confusing people and writing your words poorly, and then trying to deny what you said.
Because i compared Europe in its entirety, or mostly in its entirety. England, Britain, Sweden etc. to how a country should not be. I made a simple point that went above the heads of quite a few people now including yourself. "Europe is a mess and a horrible example of how a country should be." That's it, that was the statement. It's very simple, and it doesn't say or show that i claimed Europe was a country, wich is precisely and specifically what Lightbringer is saying. This is called lying.

Your point was trash. Europe has over 30 countries and your statement didn't even point towards any particular issues aside from the fact that you were responding to Lightbringer's mention of gun laws.
Luckily those laws don't protect you from your government, from getting stabbed, ran over, have acid thrown in your face, or having your daughter raped in front of you. Europe is mess and a horrible example of how a country should be.
On what issues do you think European countries have a consistent stance on when compared to each other? Or is it literally one example that makes you condemn an entire string of countries? I guess you meant immigration, but European countries don't have a consistent stance on that.

Not to mention major numbers are probably from neighboring countries anyways rather than what you think.

That makes zero sense.

Also while you're whinning over a Bbq and racism i'd like to bring this article i just came across to everyone's attention:

"Four young black males from Baltimore City, accused in the death of a white female police officer in Baltimore County."

I don't think this is something you'd make a thread about.

The anti white propaganda in the US is doing pretty well I see, these idiots keep falling for it. MURICA
So whites, not minorities, are being discriminated against? White people are the true victims in the U.S.? And suggesting that there's any sort of discrimination against minorities is anti-white?
