All jokes aside, Hinata shouldn't be a combative given she's the wife of a kage and has a child.

That would be like Kushina being out and about completeing missons.

She would be a prime target to be harmed, killed or kidnapped. Hell, Boruto technically shouldn't be doing missions either and possibly Sarada given her eyes. Hanabi is a heir so she shouldn't be out doing missons either but that can be excused as her father fought in the war despite being the clan head.

There's not much else they could've done with her, Chunin level house wife who's fullfilled her major objective in life? She got the D of the one she was always watching(kurama or Naruto) and is doing what she was originally made for. She progressed from side character love interest to house wife and a mother.

Hinata was never very relevant to the plot until The Last which technically isn't even a part of the Naruto plot as the story had ended. it was more of a platform to Boruto. Whatever studio or people handled her part 1 filler self is the only team that really cared along with whoever did her vs pain moment.

@bold: you don't have a licence to decide what qualifies somebody as a real fan. Fanboying is subjective to begin with, some people like different aspects of characters it neither makes 1 more or less of a fan than another.

Hinata was only relevant in part 1 and 2 because Naruto showed concern about her losses against Neji and Pain. I'm not even exaggerating. There was that time she fixed Naruto's shoulder though.
