Clone need to die or be relegated to the sidelines, Sarada needs to take the lead. Metal Lee needs to join team 7 so we can have a well rounded team 7.

We can have a nin, gen and weapons specialist in Sarada
Mitsuki as a sensor, sagemode, medics etc
And Metal as a thaijutsu specialist who can busy out shadow clones and use Kakazu's hardening jutsu to aid his thaijutsu.

Most importantly Madara Uchiha needs to be cloned as a kid around the new gen's age so we can follow his journey through the new age. He wouldn't be overly powerful either since he's not an incarnate. It would be cool to see e a dynamic between him, Sasuke and the others. It would make a far better story and could have a lot of depth.

I would love that the series didn't have this feeling that every inconsistency is solved by resourcing to retcons but that train already left.

Parallels are already too much to handle. Sun/moon. Blue tattoo/red tattoo (Kawaki and Boruto). Team 7. A group of villains à la Akatsuki. Gods as threats.

Solo Goddess Queen Himawari. If she's involved/shown more, nothing would stop me from actually watching the series/reading the manga. A shame really.

I'm talking about a main villain, she's a villain, but possibly not one of the main ones. Also, it's going to take a long time for her to even appear again :/
Kara & Kawaki shouldn't be the only villains out there.

1. The manga's pacing is way too slow. I know it's monthly, but I've read several monthly mangas that have a lot better pacing than Boruto's manga (ie. DBS, To Love Ru Darkness, etc...)

2. The manga could use some more involvement from the other new generation kids aside from just Boruto. Fortunately, where we currently are, all of team 7 is involved at least, so that is good. I want Sumire to get more involved though (more than just making Sarada uncomfortable with talks about boys), I want to see Denki and Iwabe's introduction into the manga, and I want some joint team missions or mixed missions (kind of like the Sasuke retrieval mission or the Kazekage rescue mission which mixed team 7 and team Guy).

Those are my only two gripes with the Boruto series thus far. The anime is fine.

1. Its own ORIGINAL characters. So far the series has been piggybacking on what Kishimoto created years ago. Almost the entire 7 swordsmen are just the descendants of the previous holders(false, they just look like slightly different clones)(Ok, I'm just hating lol) when we KNOW that others can claim the swords from those fodders like Kisame did to get Samehada. How did that weakling Kiba even get that sword, let alone keep it, when she was defeated by a rookie? What are the odds that they encounter someone from Haku's clan? Every enemy so far has just been someone or something related to the original story despite how unlikely the odds are and there being an entire world of other shinobi.

2. Cut out the parallels. I don't know what it is with shounen and parallels. Boruto straight up says its his story, so why are we still seeing the same shit? Kara being like their Akatsuki, Kawaki being like Boruto's Sasuke(they're bound to become "rivals"), Sun and Moon, new team 7, heavy involvement from ino-shika-cho, the junk about following Naruto and Sasuke's paths, and all the threats so far have been things we've already seen in Naruto. Jesus, man.

I haven't seen anyone in danger yet so it feels kinda redundant. We're all waiting for Boruto to do something interesting and start on his own path, yet it feels like its moving at a snails pace to get there.
