Ahhhhh so anything that doesn't support your agenda is lügenpresse oh my bad that's what hitler said, it is "fake news" here....again Trump didn't win because of popular vote, he won because of electoral college....

Electoral college is still considered the american population therefore yes he did win popular vote... are you trying to say the electoral college arent consisting of americans that also have a right to vote? By slandering the electoral college you're essentially bashing our constitution you know that right? And no, i rather look at both sides fairly thank you... ask anyone that knows me i'm not one to just insult someone because of their opinions... but i guess you disagree with that ideology as you've basically just called me hitler because i don't agree on your political view point... as you kinda propagated that i have but in reality you're the one whos doing it.... yet again the left strikes with irony... but i'd rather not go as far as this so i'm just gonna leave this comment here then leave as i don't want this thread to get spammed with something that i see is clearly out of place, good day.

Did you really just say that the popular vote and the electoral vote are the exact same thing?

The popular vote includes the total population of everyone that voted.

Electoral vote are state electors. States have different populations, yet a set number of delegates.

Hillary had over 3 million more people vote for her than Trump. So no, Trump did not win the popular vote. This is an indisputable fact.

You constantly defend Trump in every single thing he does, going as far as to bend the truth and perhaps lie to yourself. You may defend him all you like, but no matter how much you lie about what he does, in reality he doesn't care about you in the slightest and his tax plan which is soon to pass, the repeal of Net Neutrality, the attempted repeal of healthcare will all hurt you personally in due time. Why defend someone who is seeking to hurt you and everyone else? What is there to gain? Is doubling down on this idiocy really all that important to you?

Another question: Does Net Neutrality removal has any negative effects on sites like MyAnimeList, AnimePlanet, NarutoBase?

It's odd because if anything were to politically motivate the millenial generation, it'd be unfairly restricting the internet, surely? Like, i'd imagine more than casual protests for a huge change like this.

Take away people's porn and you'd expect more resistance than this.

Yes. The internet will essentially become a pay to play platform. The ISPs can make your access to the internet similar to how airplanes allow access to the internet through packages. As an example, you can first you can pay for a basic package to access the internet, then you can get the package to go to your favorite sites, and another package to stream video.

The ISPs can also play quid pro quo with web services and pages, telling them that if they don't pay extra they the ISPs can slow down their pages and speed up their competitors.

A little bit complicated, but I guess I get the idea. In short, this is way beyond fuked up.

I get the feeling that some or majority of people will start riot. The only thing I think of is making access to Internet so hard in order to control the flow of information. Information that doesn't fit government's purposes.

Think of it this way; instead of the government micromanaging the internet, it will essentially be 6 big telecom companies that are motivated by the profit instead.

And the repeal of net neutrality will green light these companies to do virtually whatever they like in order to make a profit.

And to add to this not just greenlight whatever they want but also reject and shit on small and or new businesses that are ran online (just about every business nowadays) if they are competing against supported ISP markets. Damn if this isnt fascism idk what is. we truly are ****ed if this gets repealed which it most likely will. Only thing left to hold on to is the vast majority of people, Trump supporters included to realize how ****ed this whole thing is and completely come together as a collective society and protest the living hell out of it. Hopefully will be eye opening to all the MAGA trolls out there..

I agree that this the repeal of Net Neutrality is just a few steps away from the beginning of fascism. With information liable to be censored throughout the internet, corporate power can go unchallenged.

Add this to a list of other destructive legislation, such as the incoming tax bill and dismantling of healthcare, and you'll have yourself society on the brink.

In my personal opinion, I don't see hope for anyone who still supports Trump. If what he represented and pushed for didn't disenchant his base already, then almost nothing will.

His base is more interested in the culture war rather than the actual politics itself.

Supermarkets and some restaurants even most stores use ATM which requires network. Should I expect prices of merchandise to rise because of Net Neutrality been removed?

nah that wont happen. price gauging, as far as i know over here in florida is illegal and the repeal wont affect something like that to where restaurants will change prices on meals. It will affect more so a business or store thats ran directly online though. If their sites are a pain in the ass to log into to conduct business with they can expect to lose customers which really hurts small business market and all you'll have left is these big companies that the ISPs support, its sad considering this can play a pretty huge factor on whether someone who worked their ass off in college to get that sweet business degree and would like to start their own business online however knowing they will have to cough up more money to try and compete with whatever the ISPs would moderate and consider browse worthy or get the can with throttled service and terrible loading times for their sites. Bully tactic. If you personally know anyone with an online business or a business that relies heavily on their online service you should fill them on this repeal. it can affect their business greatly.

I see. Such sites that almost depends on online such as:

- Amazon, Ebay etc
- FedEx, UPS, Aramex etc
- University/College
- Ministry
- Adidas, Nike etc
- Toyota, Honda, GMC etc
- Sony, Samsung, LG etc
- PC sites

The list goes on. I wonder what big companies like these have to say about Net Neutrality. It may not effect some companies, but soon it will.

You know how the world would be like in the future without Net Neutrality? Somehow, something like this...

They only want to get rid of net neutrality to suck up money from companies and people who try to keep their sites running.

If this actually happens, everyone is screwed. xd

I wonder how the FCC Chairmen is still breathing. I'm surprised he hasn't had an assassination attempt yet. I don't wish death on anyone, but he's asking for it.
