Me too. I thought he would let Boruto have the bell after seeing him and all the classmates try so hard but I guess he didnt want him to get all cocky again lol but it was still a fun episode.
Yeah but you saw how Naruto right after got all upset about it and stabbed himself with a kunai. If Kakashi started scolding Naruto like that he wouldve found the resolve to break his arm.
Boruto just needs his motivation to become a ninja and find his resolve.

Your right but I think that was more of borderline stupidity too.
In real ninja type situation I can see how breaking your arm would be detrimental for escaping, but Naruto stabbing his hand to prove a point was dumb XD
OT: Agreed. I like the dynamic of those two.
PS.Would've been pretty funny if Boruto knew how to control all his tenketsu and used it on Kakashi after he tells him his only way to escape from that postion...

Yeah but i think it was mainly to show Naruto has backbone and wont get scared again. Also they would have to postpone the mission to take NAruto to the hospital.
Yeah Kakashi is an OG to the ninja world and you always gotta respect the OG's.

He did, and we got to see more purple lighting. I wasn’t too into mirai tbh but now that they gave her the blades, and giving her some “fight” time, I’m all for it, plus, they’re finally ninja
I think more so for his friends than just Boruto. Like Iwabe, Sumire, and Denki (and a few others). You can physically see that they are different from the Academy Arc.
However in Boruto's case, while I do think he learned a lesson (and that it was nice to see him take Kakashi's words to heart). I think that they moved a bit too fast since he obviously didn't really learn much. In the sense that Kakashi warned him his resolve isn't strong enough to make him a real ninja.
In this case I feel like they failed Boruto, because he's walking out of graduation still having a weak resolve, and still believing strongly in friendship.
Granted though it'll setup the Movie events where he really gets fleshed out, but they definitely need a few more focus episodes to get us there.
I'm in a strong belief that Boruto will probably end up getting saved by his friends in the end too.
> He does something bad
> In the end "you were myyyyyyy friend" GROUP TNJ
