Does Boruto even need Frog summoning?

With the path he his going on does Boruto even needs a overly big thing like Frog Summoning?

Naruto and Sasuke is the path that he is approaching and Kawaki and the Ootsutski are his adversaries.

I doubt Naruto and Sasuke would use their summons against Ootsutski. Sasuke tried against Kaguya and failed and Naruto had some use against Pain's other summons but not against the rinnegan itself.

So what I am saying is that were Boruto is going do you even think he needs that skill or should he focus his time on speed, kenjutsu and his Jougan.

I doubt he will have a chakra avatar but that is semi useless as well, were he is going in terms of climatic battles. (As seen with Kaguya's lack of using a full body chakra avatar).


If indeed Boruto wants to do summoning then would you think he would inherit his old man's scroll as it has been passed down via close kin and sensei's.


Instead of Summoning he could just learn sage mode via the Frogs as well as (unlike Naruto) other Frog sage tech like Genjutsu,etc...

I don't think so the deadlock is not necessarily a given. I think it'll skip a generation as it has done in the past. Take as an example Anko she had a snake contract but no deadlock in her generation.
