I hope you know that the fact they went on the field trip doesn't automatically make every single thing that happened on said field trip in the anime canon. This has happened in the original Manga as well. Events are put into more detail in the anime than they were in the Manga, yet said details are filler.

Anime is Filler until stated otherwise, there will be parts that will become cannon as the manga adresses them in either flashbacks or honourable mentions but until then its filler, the only thing cannon so far is that we know they went to Kirigakure on a school trip.. doesnt mean whats happening on the school trip currently is Cannon unless its adressed

Nope, the fact that the trip occurred is now canon, but the events contained therein, until otherwise referenced directly or via flashback, are very much filler.
