I don't think any variation of "Naruto is badly written" qualifies as an unpopular opinion anymore

Anyway, I think the manga should have had the whole alien thing hinted at early on, giving it overall an otherwordly subplot/leitmotif instead of being so down-to-earth for most part. This way it could have had another layer of creepiness. As a bonus, the Otsutsuki could have been less humanoid and with completely alien minds.

Agreed with what you said. With the new series they introduced Otsutsuki early on but it kind of doesn't overshadow the fact that they were nonexistant in Part 1 and half of Part 2

-Boruto ( the character) is written much worse than part 1 Naruto and on occasion is physically taxing to follow.
-The start of the Boruto series(the flash forward) plays out like a deviant art fanfiction and almost single handily stopped me from watching the anime.
-Regardless of Kara or not the Boruto manga is near unreadable because of Ikemoto's influence.
-None of the endgame pairings were developed well but all of them (bar Choji x Karui) were foreseeable early on.
-Under no circumstances would Sasuke and Karin work. Additionally the notion that Sakura was somehow more of a doormat than Karin to Sasuke is laughable.

Madara was definitely nerfed against Hashirama.
That kurama is the daddy of Boruto and Himawari(possiblity).
That Naruto is Iruka level without kurama and Boruto represents Naruto's natural reserves(highly rational).

- Naruto chasing Sasuke ruined entire manga.
- War arc was great until Juubi emerged.
- Sasuke and Sakura pairing is the most retarded thing Kishi ever did.
- Hyuga and Uzumaki clan needed way more relevancy in the story.
- Neji had to be Naruto and Sasuke equal and rival.
- Every konoha 11 character needed more screen time and more relevancy to the story.

Mangafacts if looked at objectively Naruto was the vessel for Kurama to deliver it's thing. A simple body swap would suffice.

The second one is based upon Boruto's chakra level and kishi staring Boruto inherited Naruto's chakra/stamina. Skillwise he'd likely reach low Kakashi/tokujo level although I doubt it with his low mental capacity.

Anyway I'm glad we agree on Madara being nerfed.
