Whats your opinion on the wealth and military of the villages? I thought Konoha would take the lead in everything. But realistically that wouldn't make sense. The land of lightning is pretty well off as a whole.

Suna being last in everything makes sense since they live in a desert.​

How are some of you guys forgetting this? The Uzumaki weren't some small time clan on the outskirts of the land of fire. They had their own thing. Even an alliance with Konoha.

They were not the only clans being hired for war. We have no way of figuring out how much they made off commission and how much wealth was obtained. The countries and borders were different and the economic climate was as well.

You're speculating that just because they were one of the strongest that they were paid much more, that they actually saved that money (and it wasn't used for warring) or that they were even paid in currency. It could have been provisions, land etc. We simply do not know to that extent for you to assume a clan without a village had more wealth than an established village at any given time.

The only benchmarks we have on clan wealth was Konoha and Uzushiogakure. In which case, yes. The Uzumaki were wealthier than the uchiha.
