Good post, mate. Hinata would have been, and I can't stress this enough, by far the near-perfect foil to Naruto and Sasuke as the main heroine. There's so much about her that relates to those two and she even has her own personal issues while Sakura had none of that. I could talk about the possibilities for hours tbh :lolConsidering how she later had Hamura ties and the fact that Kishi planned to pair her with Naruto from the beginning, it would make sense that she be the main heroine over Sakura. Not sure what the editors were thinking.
Honestly with her being a Hyuga and her shy supportive demeanor I think she would have fit the role of team 7's Medic Ninja moreso than Sakura (not hating on Sakura) Sakura's personality seems to fit in more with Kiba and Shino to be honest. also her pairing would have probably felt more natural than a retcon ala The Last, provided Naruto actually showed some romantic interest.
Plus Sakura really didn't have anything going for her apart from getting with Sasuke. With Hinata, her development could have been flushed out with first her rift between her cousin Neji and her father as well as coming to terms with whether or not she wanted to take the mantle of Hyuga household lead.
There was a lot of potential there that could have made her such a great main heroine.
Hinata never gushed and tried to go on dates with Sasuke and instead always focused on training. Add on her introverted personality and her actual care for training unlike Sakura who only started after Sasuke left, and there's no way she'd be forcing herself on Naruto like Sakura did with Sasuke if Hinata was in T7. It's funny how the manga makes it a point that Hinata is different than the likes of Sakura and Ino, who outwardly fan girl over their crush while Hinata never does such things yet you think Hinata's case would be the same if she was with Naruto on T7/If people don't hate Hinata if she was on team 7 would be a hypocrite. The main reason they hated Sakura was because she was all about Sasuke. With Hinata it would be the same except way worse. Adding in the fact she would still be useless and in the shadows of Naruto and Sasuke.
Nah it would be different Hinata trains, while Sakura doesn't train but whines about being useless. If people don't hate Hinata if she was on team 7 would be a hypocrite. XD I actually like Kagome. I mean at least she do something and have a use. I dislike how she left her family for a dude in the past tho.You must be registered for see images
Have you read bleach? Comparing any female in shonen to Orihime is a insult.
I mean I don't dislike her, but Orihime is the Prime example of not how to write a female. She makes Kagome well written.
That moment when Sakura started wanting to get stronger was during the Chunin exams. And she got even more determined when Sasuke left so she can help Naruto do it.Good post, mate. Hinata being useless with Byakugan and Jyuken skillful enough to even control her fight with Neji breifly VS Sakura with a kunai. Of course, it would so be the same.
Read above brate.Nah it would be different Hinata trains, while Sakura doesn't train but whines about being useless.
Hinata doesn't break friendship, which makes her good.
Sakura obsessing over Sasuke wouldn't be so bad if Sakura trained, but she doesn't so that makes it bad. Sakura only trained with Tsunade when Sasuke left and after that no more training.
Before I start I want to make somethinh clear lets avoid bashing and flaming if it is no problem.
There are many things I like about Hinata in Naruto such as these:
- She trains without being forced to it
- She loyal to her friends
- She doesn't insult or beat her friends up
- She has excellent taijutsu skills along with long range abilities
- She didn't need to cheat in the Chuunin exam, that means she smart
- Her byakugan makes her look cool
- Used to give up easy but changed to not giving up
Those are all things that makes her a good character in my opinion.
What do you like about Hinata?
Kakashi trained all of them brate. Kakashi only physically trained Sasuke when the Chunin exams was at it's climax.★Styles both Naruto and Sasuke went to Kakashi to get trained, while Sakura didn't bother asking for training or training herself.
Hinata trained by herself which is good.
Sakura only jutsu in part 1 was substitute jutsu and nothing else, didn't bother learning any other jutsu.
During the land of wave Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto trained, but in the Chuunin exam we didn't Sakura train.Kakashi trained all of them brate. Kakashi only physically trained Sasuke when the Chunin exams was at it's climax.
Naruto Sasuke and Sakura learned the same thing from Kakashi until he took Sasuke under his wing.
Jutsu isn't everything to a ninja Jiraiya literally said that.
They couldn't train brate. As soon as the land of waves ended the chunin exams started no one had time to train.During the land of wave Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto trained, but in the Chuunin exam we didn't Sakura train.
Naruto went to Kakashi, but he send Naruto to Ebisu and then to Jiraiya when Ebisu was knocked out.
Sasuke went to Kakashi to train, which he got chidori.
Sakura during the Chuunin exam nothing, if I am wrong can you post the image of when Sakura trained during the Chuunin exam.
Excellent counter to that post. That moment when Sakura started wanting to get stronger was during the Chunin exams. And she got even more determined when Sasuke left so she can help Naruto do it.
She never controlled that fight vs Neji brate. She was losing from the get go and wasn't even a match for Neji.
Hinata on team 7 would literally blush stay shy and even faint every and any time Naruto look or talk to her. Sakura etc only asked Sasuke out once in canon iirc and that was after the land of waves arc when they weren't on any missions.
Not gonna disagree with you there. Like I said she had potential but with the way Kishi writes his women I agree she would more than likely just be the same as she is now with slightly more screen/panel time.If people don't hate Hinata if she was on team 7 would be a hypocrite. The main reason they hated Sakura was because she was all about Sasuke. With Hinata it would be the same except way worse. Adding in the fact she would still be useless and in the shadows of Naruto and Sasuke.
Every girl in Naruto had potential tbh. Sakura and her DB elements plus her genjutsu affinity. Hinata and her learning rotation(probably still wouldn't have it) plus her elements. Ino and her element's. TenTen etc. Hinata personality don't mesh with team 7 tho.Not gonna disagree with you there. Like I said she had potential but with the way Kishi writes his women I agree she would more than likely just be the same as she is now with slightly more screen/panel time.
Now that you mention it. Did you ever watch Road to Ninja? The Hinata there would fit best with team 7. Not only did she have Rotation and the other techs Neji showcased, but she was far more outgoing then the timid canon.Every girl in Naruto had potential tbh. To what development for Hinata do you refer? I can garuntee you I will not only match it with a Sakura development but go a few over.the fact that we have to compare a minor side character that got less then 5% panel time compared to the so called heroine of this series
and actually still managed to have better character growth just showcases how dire Sakura's situation really is
That's the Hinata that acts like Sakura lol and somehow people still like her. She would mesh with team 7 a bit more so team Gai..Now that you mention it. Did you ever watch Road to Ninja? But I digress and I agree with you. All the females had potential. Would have been nice to see Sakura play up that genjutsu affinit. Had hoped for that a long time when Kakashi first mentioned it.

Face it. Hinata received no development until the end of the manga. Sakura had a few points of development both tech wise and self wise.
[That moment when Sakura started wanting to get stronger was during the Chunin exams. And she got even more determined when Sasuke left so she can help Naruto do it.
Nah, reread it. Shino even states Hinata was in control for a bit.She never controlled that fight vs Neji brate. She was losing from the get go and wasn't even a match for Neji.
While Chap 98 already proves this wrong, I don't get what you're trying to say here? Would Hinata blush and be shy around Naruto at first? Of course. But like in canon, that would change gradually. Her being part of T7 would simply make it better for us to see her development with Naruto and her growing confidence in herself.Hinata on team 7 would literally blush stay shy and even faint every and any time Naruto look or talk to her.
K. Agree, my bad.Sakura etc only asked Sasuke out once in canon iirc and that was after the land of waves arc when they weren't on any missions.
Only char dev I see for Sakura is treating Naruto like a human and taking her career as a ninja seriously. Both of which Hinata was already doing from the start. Now that you mention it. Did you ever watch Road to Ninja? The Hinata there would fit best with team 7. Not only did she have Rotation and the other techs Neji showcased, but she was far more outgoing then the timid canon.
