SS fans are so thirsty, reaching for Sasuke taking needles out of Sakura's arm then telling her to heal herself somehow meaning he loves her despite being away for 10+ years, and not even bothering to see his daughter even when in Konoha and rejecting kissing Sakura multiple times.

Sasuke doesn't even look happy to be near her in that panel too.

Forced, sad and interesting. The thing is no matter how awful their romantic' history and forced adult marriage is....it's awesome potential for development or plot exploration. Kishimoto never does this though and throughout Gaiden and Sakura Hiden the writers just hammer in the same two lines repetitively.

The amount that could've been done with Sakura's role as a Uchiha or Sasuke's struggle to grow a heart / continue his lineage would've made for some actually interesting and human stuff with the trio of characters. Instead we have a family where it seems like they can't stand the sight of one another.

There's a Storm cutscene where Sarada chases after her father to train her and he basically treats her like a stranger. Whilst obviously non-canon, there was literally nothing out of character about the exchange. Creepy and waste of potential.​

Sasuke was already some 7-8 years into his journey during this flashback. Naruto only wanted to tag along for the purpose of tracking down people stronger than Kaguya, and we saw how fast THAT was resolved, so stop with this pathetic implication tha Naruto would leave his family for years on end.
