With so many similarities between the two, it's hilarious that people act like Hinata wouldn't have been a better fit for heroine in Sakura's place. She meshes SO WELL with both Sasuke and Naruto in every way, from her personality to her backstory to her powers, while Sakura struggles to even share any shred of understanding or similarities with them beyond the forced T7 stuff.

Although as pairings, SasuHina is a brOTP of mine, NH is still the most sensible, and I don't think Sasuke and Hinata's personalities would work well as a romantic couple considering both are introverts and Hinata herself likes people like NAruto, but I would have loved to see them act like siblings if Hinata was part of Team 7, would have been sweet seeing, for example, Sasuke witnessing the relationship between Hanabi and Hinata and relating it to his own bond with Itachi in some ways. :lol The potential is so good.
