Watching JJ Madara run away from Naruto and Sasuke was very funny lol and then BZ soloed him in the most pathetic way possible. He should be named Faildara instead lol. The guy got two lives only to fail miserably.
1st-Madara didn't fight with full powers against hashi...becuz his mission priority was to steal portion of hashirama's cells in order to activate rinnegan...
2-Madara had to fake the fight and his death...he wanted the world to believe that Madara was dead...so he can secretly work on his dreamworld plan..
3-the only way hashirama could defeat Madara was stabbing him in the back like fodder...
Gullible is a weakness, no? He buys into Kaguya's plan and spends a lifetime researching some vague clue. Nobodies really acknowledged Madara's absolute trust on that actually, it's a stretch as that's the only thing that exists from that era.

There's nothing that even says it was a surprise attack. How would you go for stealth at the end of a battle that lasted that long? Doesn't make sense.
