lol every Hokage mentioned fought in wars at some point so lacking stealth ability is just hilarious. How do you think they survive?

They didn't. Feudal period had no ninjas, it was just the strongest clan overpowering everybody else. During the ninjas ages when the system was created, they didn't survive wars. The first and second hokages were killed in war. Hiruzen's period didn't even have great shinobi world war and Minato survived thanks to being fast enough to escape death.

Even Hashirama and Tobirama used stealth during the clan wars.

They did not. They fought face to face because shinobi system wasn't created during the feudal period. After the shinobi system was made they were all killed in war. Tobirama got ambushed by 20 bounty hunters, what kind of stealth is that?

For the record Kakashi was easily spotted by a 30% clone of Itachi when they were hiding.

That's because Itachi is better than him. His stealth is good because he's better than any elite anbu.

Lastly in reference to the fight how would the Anbu be a threat if Obito teleported away with Kushina? The fox wasn't even unleashed yet.

I'm talking about after he gets kushina. Even if he was somehow able to somehow teleport into a place he's never marked before, if he didn't kill those anbus it would be a 1vs 4 on the battlefield.

Ive been an Itachi fan since the day he was introduced and even now i don't think that he can beat Minato. Now im not saying it wouldn't be a good fight but just with Stamina alone Minato has this win in the bag. Main arsenal Itachi has(which attributes to his stealth) is Genjutsu. His genjustu prowess was so strong he probably didn't even have to really be "stealthy" to anyone since he could control sounds and movements how he pleases. He could be literally right in front of you and have your mind think they are looking for you somewhere else by the sound of twigs falling or leaves moving through the wind or simply water being splashed. Thats what made his Genjutsu so hard to break out of because Itachi took into account every detail humans use to perceive what reality is based of the basic human senses. Now can Minato get caught in Genjutsu? That is the real question because depending on the level needed(normal sharingan or Mangekyou) is where the Stamina role plays in part for this Match Up. I have often thought of this fight and I would like to give Itachi the win. Its just i haven't come up with an actual situation where its possible yet

Yes he does. Tsukyomi and other sharingan genjutsus are instant as the databook says. Minato would get destroyed, even Orochimaru was depicted as being stronger than Minato.

-Obito killed those anbu instead of sneaking through them because he didnt bother. He could have just teleported through them.
-It was never stated that Obito was trying to find itachi and failed . I think itachi was available all time because he was living as a normal person at this time.
-When Itachi sneaked behind Bee, Bee wasnt even paying attention to him as Nagato summoned two biju sized animals at this exact moment.
-Obito could follow Minato because he tagged him.

In this thread I will be explaining to everyone that Itachi's stealth skills was far superior than both Obito and Minato's SpaceTime ninjutsu in terms of using it for travel and stealth.

In this thread I will be explaining the following + More:


Minato couldn't detect Tobi (Manga Fact)

Tobi couldn't detect Itachi (Manga Fact)

Itachi detected Tobi easily (Manga Fact)


This alone shows the superior stealth skills that Itachi had as he could easily find people less skilled in stealth than him.


To continue on lets look at comparisons.

Obito Attacking the Village during Naruto's Birth.

When Tobi entered the area where Naruto was born he was forced to kill the Anbu soldiers as he was incapable of sneaking pass them.

This alone shows that although Obito has Space/time ninjutsu he was still unable to sneak pass Anbu Blackops


Itachi however. Was capable of sneaking pass the entire Konoha village, directly visiting the Hokage himself while no one was ever alerted of his presence.

Furthermore he was even capable of attacking jounin and a SANNIN in Konoha without any one detecting him after they fleed. Even when Obito attacked the village the entire village hunted him but what SAVED him was his teleportation. Itachi is doing this through pure skill.


Lastly Minato.

Minato was easily detected during his encounter with Obito as Obito teleported directly on him when he tried to flee

Obito was never able to sneak up on Itachi as he could never find him. Itachi was always the one that met him.

Notice in the image above he says "He sought me out" how is it that Obito a s/t master who is impossible to track and capable of being anywhere was so easily discovered? Why? Because Itachi is the greatest stealth expert.


Another Example about Minato's stealth in comparison to Itachi.

Minato tried sneaking up behind Bee USING SpaceTime Ninjutsu:

I've yet to see Itachi become Hokage.
I've yet to see Itachi become legendary (inside manga/series not outside fanboy feats)
I've yet to see Itachi take on anyone strong (only Sasuke and he killed him)
I've yet to see Itachi prasied by J-man as much or more than Minato
I've yet to see Itachi have advanced seals (weapons don't count he found them)
I've yet to see Itachi take on a God jubbi-jin like Obito and Madara
I'VE YET TO SEE ITACHI EVEN ATTEMPT TO FIGHT OBITO WHILE MINATO HAS DEFEATED HIM MANY TIMES
I've yet to see Itachi be praised more than Minato (if so why didn't he take Itachi under him, slaughter the clan by default and have him be hokage over Minato!)
I've yet to see Itachi's greatness outside of his genjutsu while Minato is a great sensor, seal master, strategist, and has no special clan powers

Itachi was great, but he's overhyped beyond Minato's real achievements.

He was even showcased more than Minato and yet he never fought anyone worthy. Minato fight with the fox is even more creditable than Itachi vs Sasuke. He never fought pain, nagato, etc.

He fought a weak aaa Killer Bee and KCM Naruto who weren't even trying to kill or fight him for real. It was stated by Raikage that him and Bee fought Minato many times and never won.

Obito killed guards because he didn't want minato to have support, since he knew the danger minato alone posed. Itachi didn't go through whole konoha unnoticed, he only went unnoticed by lower ranked ninjas, since he encountered all relevant characters. And itachi was a really perceptive and philosophical character and those attributes made him one of my favs. And that is why he found about obito. Since obito was never looking for him, so your comparison here makes no sense.

As for minato's case and bee's example, you are being biased there, since there's no indication that bee didn't know about itachi, and bee anticipated minato i.e predicted it. He didn't react to a stealth attack lel.

haha i know that quote of black zetsu lel. But no, there is nothing in those scans that make itachi their superior. If you wanna go for feats really then obito controlled a mizukage for years without anyone finding out. Nothing itachi did trumps that. And minato won a war using stealth tactics. Again nothing trumps that. You are biased since you are interpreting the scans in your favor. Even though there is nothing in scans that makes itachi superior to either obito or minato.
