No it means OP is saying pure combat Sasuke lost and resorted to a chakra based technique which Kinshiki have been using the whole fight.

Yeah, kinshiki does have a slight edge against sasuke in cqc. You have to keep in mind sasuke fought with only one arm though.

The problem here is not the weapons pull out and holds by Kinshiki's two hands but Kinshiki's strength and his speed matched Sasuke. There fore Sasuke need to be much faster and stronger than Kinshiki.

In case you missed it, the reason Sasuke used Ameno was because he didn't have his sword. It remained stuck on the ground when he disarmed Kinshiki.
The real question here is why didn't Sasuke create a Chidori sword when Kinshiki created a new axe. Then again, he had little reason to keep fighting since he got the scroll.

Because if he used a fraction of his full power there would be no plot for Boruto

You forget Sasuke can make enton and chidori swords out of nowhere, but he's restricted from using them..
