What happened to the spirit of Indra and Ashura?

Naruto and Sasuke were the reincarnations of the brothers and it is implied by them containing their identical chakra that they are possessed by the spirits of the brothers. But wasn't this the result of the brother's feud which ended when Sasuke conceded to Naruto? So are they still possessed by Indra and Ashura or have their spirits passed on? Do they still have the spirits and they will pass on when Naruto and Sasuke will die and this time not reincarnate into a future generation?

What of Boruto and Mitsuki? Don't they resemble the brother's feud in a way with Boruto being Ashura and Mitsuki being Indra?

How I understand the transmigrant business is that their descendants each generation inherit their chakra. Within these chakra embody their spirits which hosts of these chakra follow. Naruto and sasuke both stopped following these will and broke the cycle it's unclear if the chakra will still be transferred to future generations.

Mitsuki can't be a indra transmigrant since he isn't a descendant of indra. Ashura and indra won't play a big part for this story line.

Well madara and hashi were edo'd and didn't seem to effect sasuke's or narutos chakra

So long as Nads and Sauce live, their spirits shall remain on earth....but now that they've made peace, there's no reason for them to continue reincarnating themselves bc they only reincarnated themselves to begin with to continue their eternal battle. Nads and Sauce ended the cycle, so once they die, Indra and Ashura's spirits will finally rest in peace.

The end of the story was to conclude everything related to the Ootsutsuki. Naruto and Sasuke still have Ashura's and Indra's chakra, but it won't pass on because the feud is over between them. The movies could only have plot by introducing more of this Six Paths business, but now that they're done with, the world after Naruto and Sasuke die will be absent of any traces of Kaguya and her family line.
