Please I beg you
GTFO!!
Just cause it has no name? Dude what?
His bankai aint get shit done was because the dude they fought grew stronger every time he died.. So yes in terms of a regular fight, Kenpachi wouldve CRUSHED his opponent.. TWICE.. Please dont.. And Sanpo Kenju very well could have been a technique.. Just because Yachiru was his bankai dont mean she cant have a zankpatou. The fact that he is a brute makes it better. He wouldnt use bankai vs ppl like tosen.. Actually from what it seen, he wouldnt use bankai unless he NEED it.. and I dont mean vs somebody whols killing him but if SS is truly threatned.
His bankai hands down was one of the best if you ask me..
Your opinion differs from mine, and thus it is objectively wrong. Allow me to explain.
The circumstances of his Bankai are what i find so dissatisfying about it. First off, it was introduced and removed in the space of three chapters. 668, Yachiru says "Bankai". 669, Gerard gets ****ed. 670, Kenpachi self destructs, and Gerard is fine.
Absolutely nothing of note happened as a result of Kenpachi going Bankai.
Secondly, it's effectiveness in battle. It's a simple increase in brute strength. Kenpachi is already unmatched in brute strength, even Gerard was losing to him until he brought out the Hoffnung, a damage reflector. If Brute Strength doesn't work, then his Bankai is so much uselessness. And if Brute Strength does work, it's overkill because
Kenpachi is already the strongest. He only got past the Hoffnung because Gerard stopped using it.
Third, the plot holes it creates. Yachiru being a Zanpakuto spirit. That's all well and good, but it does leave Sanpo Kenju as an inexplicable mystery. It's nothing like Nozarashi's powers, which is what you would expect from the zanpakuto spirit of Nozarashi. Nozarashi is a giant axe, and Sanpo kenju is a pair of imaginary friends who kill the opponent.
It can't be her own Zanpakuto, because she isn't a shinigami.
Now this next point is against the Gerard fight as a whole, but it's still valid because Kenpachi's Bankai was half of that. Gerard was a punching bag used to show off any new abilities Kubo couldn't shoehorn in earlier, and nothing more. By having Gerard survive everything thrown at him, only for whatever new power was used to fail
on it's own rather than by Gerard's strength, it diminishes both Gerard's threat level and the impressiveness of the abilities.
Of course, none of that is valid because I remembered Ichigo's new Bankai. So I'm changing Kenpachi's from worst to second worst.
