Sasuke's quicksilver thinking is unmatched. He is extremely perceptive and the counter-strategies he creates have shown to have 100% success rates. Only Itachi has shown very slightly superior insight. Also, it was Sasuke's ability to see-through Haku's tech and quickly come up with a plan that made Haku call him a prodigy:

He literally forced out his Sharingan. His feat against Danzo is absolutely amazing. Danzo looked at his hand just once right at the start and Sasuke figured out the whole thing and the counter-attacks. Shikamaru is absolutely inferior.
