Obito's hand showing up to help Naruto was plain gross.
Studio Pierrot has delivered on 99% of the major 1v1 fights in the series, ask yourself why they wouldn't bring their best animators for this fight if they could do it for those smaller scale fights in the past?
They were promoting the crap out of this fight, they released trailers for it, they have never done that for any episode in the series, actually no animation company does that.
1+1 it's not hard to figure out that they were bringing their best stuff. Loved reading all the shit talk prior to the eps though because I knew those same people would be tip riding hard after.

Agreed. People really don't give SP credit and bash them every chance. None of the bad episodes were ever made by SP, so if your favourite scene got ruined blame the studio to which it was outsourced. That's how the business works. The only thing SP is responsible for is the amount of filler content which to their credit was possibly there to stall until the key people were brought in for this amazing finale, because if you haven't noticed this special was movie-quality. Beyond it for that matter. It's execution and detail outshined most of the movies and gave us one of the most esthetically pleasing fights the anime scene has ever seen.

Search up on YouTube naruto shippuden ost 3 wind and lightning , the ost starts different but then it returns to his it was in the moment

People have been praising the ever-living hell out of these two episodes. It was good. People liked it. Regardless if people stated that it'd be "terrible" is so irrelevant at this point. It doesn't make people "dumbasses" for criticizing a cartoon. Move on.
Are you always this dramatically annoying? No, I was not "one of them", nor can you discern whether or not I was, because I haven't made a single comment here indicating I am. All I'm saying is that it's understandable if people were a bit wary that this fight would have been somewhat of a letdown, as previous episodes led to that conclusion.

Aye good catch. That's pretty cool that there was Itachi's hand. I thought I noticed smth when seeing that in the episode but I thought it was just my imagination.

this thread needs to be pinned asap. Let this go down as the single greatest fear SP has done yet. I was lost for words and my eyes were having orgasms just looking at that animation. The nostalgia was great with the song choice and everything was top notch movie plus level. SP, y'all get shitted on here but Ima say all the crap y'all gave up until This point was worth it cuz goddam that was good

Great fight. Everything about it was perfect. I loved the beginning of the fight that Taijutsu was sequence was phenomenal. and toward the end when they both ran out of chakra and just beating the crap out of each other breaks my heart especially when its dusk ad they both can barely stand. I tear up every time. and don't even get me started on the final clash that was amazing how Sasuke got help from Itachi and Naruto got help from everyone else it was just amazing. I can't really think of a down side to the fight I mean I do wish they jumped from the head of the statues but loved the charge they did so that's ok. although I will say that I wish something similar to the diver scene from storm 4 was in it but other than that the fight was perfect. 10/10 Also anyone know the names of the OST of the music through out the fight all if you can but if you can give me a few that would be cool too. music from the first fight would be cool too

That was just pure awesomeness. 10/10 eps. Hands down the best fight in the whole series. It left me hungry for more actually. XD
The added content was cool and the animation was on point. As well as the OSTs. I'll def. be watching this frequently.
On a side note, Base Naruto did very well against Sasuke who had Sharingan + Rinnegan active.
All in all SP did a wonderful job.
