He would've certainly beaten Hebi Sasuke, probably took Taka Sasuke and had fair chances against MS Sasuke. People on here only seem to understand power... skill, intelligence and experience are all just as important - with Kakashi holding a monopoly in all three, giving him quite an edge.

Hebi is very much like a less-refined and less versatile Kakashi, as evidenced when you compare their base stats of 31.5 to 34.5. Then you have to factor in Kakashi's genius IQ, his sense of smell that surpasses Kiba and taijutsu skill above Rock Lee. His experience means he also will more often than not, control the pace of battle too. If you want to understand the importance of skill and experience, look back to when Kakashi was playing in the same "power ballpark" as the Rikudous and Kaguya, in his DMS form... he instantly put the newly empowered Kaguya straight on the backfoot. Sasuke's power doesn't take a hike until attaining MS, but it wasn't till EMS that he completely left MS Kakashi for dust, power-wise.

Yet, it took Kakashi and Sakura's participation to seal Kaguya?! I mean, who are we kidding?! After all, it was Kakashi who devised the plan to seal Kaguya after you he received Susano. It literally took one episode for Kakashi to fulfill something that Naruto and Sasuke was working at for multiple episodes.

if its Early part 2 kakashi then no. experience can be so overrated at times. his so called experience or intelligence isnt doing shit here when sasuke has the tools to beat him. sasuke is faster by feats, kakashi is better in taijutsu which is irrelevant as sasuke uses kenjutsu which he murks kakashi in. CS1 and 2 boosts hs stats even further, snake guards to bind and sword to decapacitate yeah cqc is not an option. kamui build up was too slow at that point so i dont consider it a factor as sasuke can evade and using it puts kakashi on his toes so he would be in no shape to continue fighting.

I doubt Kakashi is such an arrogant type to go solo and he'd know that he might falter because of the soft-corner for the former disciple/subordinate, he'd bring at least 2 men with him to make sure the task is done neat and clean.
If it's a mission and Kakashi's conscience is clear, Sasuke is as good as dead.

Ofc sausages will go for Sasuke but they forgot that Kakashi's intelligent was being praised by the god himself. If Kakashi only aim for kill he will have plenty of plan a head since his combat skill is like top 3 all the time.
Even EMS Sasuke got killed by 1 simple stab with his own sword. There is no problem Kakashi can come up with a plan to strike Sasuke. He has feat to strike the cunning man Kakuzu, who should have one of the most experience in NV.

Without Kamui Kakashi can't beat Hebi Sauce, in fact it's a mid-diff or so win for Sasuke. "Experience, intelligence" and all those make-belief stuff are irrelevant unless you can argue how he uses them to beat Sasuke, as base Hebi is at least above early Part 2 Kakashi and comparable to WA Kakashi in physical stats, so when CM1-2 come out it makes him literally better in everything by a good amount, plus he has better range.

With Kamui it's obviously a snipe gg.
