Under the circumstances no, they get beat, the only real shot they have is mind transfer as I don't think shika would be able hold drunken Lee that long, or even catch him with his jutsu for that matter

Sheer power-wise, Team Asuma have him outmatched IMO but it's just that Lee is so unpredictable- could Shikamaru make strategies? I'm sure he could but he'd have to work overtime.

Sheer power-wise, Team Asuma have him outmatched IMO but it's just that Lee is so unpredictable- could Shikamaru make strategies? I'm sure he could but he'd have to work overtime.

Well if we're just talking hanging out at a bar and a fight breaks out I doubt shika would have time, ino and choji would have to keep Lee occupied, choji might be able to tank some hits and hold him down, who knows lol choji and shika are the two fighters here but I highly doubt they're near Lee in terms power and skill in a fight, let alone speed. Their only chance imo is to somehow immobilize him and knock him out

Lee showed some insane drunken taijutsu feats in Part 1 and by part 2 he could open 5 gates. I think if he mixed the two together then he would obliterate the Pain/Kage arc version of Ino-Shika-Cho.

What happens if I give them their War feats? That definitely makes a big change with Chouji at least. Maybe too much so.

But Ino has some pretty nice taijutsu and anesthetic offensive medical feats from Sakura Hiden, but mostly she's a really versatile planning and offensive weapon for Shika. Shika can also do cool stuff like this, protected him pretty well from the likes of Hidan, Kabuto and Sai.

I'll give the points on ino and choji, but I think his butterfly mode would fall under overboard along with gates.(whether you agree is up to you) shika can do a lot of cool things like that, but if you notice most feats of that nature(like in the gifs) he does at a distance. In a bar(which usually isn't that big, I know I'm nitpicking here) I don't think it'd be that easy
