Why is Minato's character continuously getting destroyed?
1. He was the one who invented FTG. Now that is Tobirama's Jutsu.
2. He was supposed to be extremely intelligent. Tobirama called him an idiot, lol.
3. He made the Rasengan, but now that honor goes to Ashura.

Sooner or later someone else is going to take the credit for making the Soulreaper seal.
In my opinion, this is Minato's fault. Ninja should patent their new techniques so SP doesn't steal it.

How many canon episodes have we gotten in the past year? Maybe 2 or 3? Yeah. With a new episode coming out every week (except certain weeks in Japan) why must it all be filler? Why can't we just get back to the story and stop ruining the damn manga.

In my opinion it would have been better if SP had kept the original manga design of Indras MS, although i can understand them trying to connect him to Sasuke i just thought it was a little OTT.

In regards to OP, the fact that it was not in the manga means people can always refute what you are saying because technically many wont see it as canon.

Personally i enjoyed it. I dont see it as a plothole and i agree with what you are saying re. Minato and Tobirama weren't around in Indra and Ashuras time; so the idea of Indra and Ashura knowing these Jutsus is not so far fetched at all. Especially considering their advanced level and natural abilities.

It seems ok to take certain other episodes as canon (i.e. Kakashi Anbu, etc) however when being presented with sonething they had all been begging kishimoto to do for them before (SO6P backstory) they are still trolling threads "It's not canon it's not canon."

Send it on a postcard to kishi.

And lets not forget that Kishi himself has leant his full support to the new Mangaka of the Boruto Manga, expecting fans to take that as canon, yet people are still *****ing about this backstory.

Not quite. It was never stated Minato created FTG only that it was a technique he was shown using until Tobirama showed up. Much like Orochimaru using Edo Tensei back in part one to revive the 1st and 2nd then we learned Edo Temsei was created by Tobiramaz. Same applies to FTG.

Why do you keep trying to make filler material into canon? It's not a plot hole it just never happened conon wise. This is why they don't overlap. Minato created Rasengan after he witnessed Kurama's bijuudama. He model Rasengan after it. It's his tech like Kakashi's Raikiri was created by himself. Hagoromo used a lightning tech similar to Chidori to smash that Boulder in the filler, does that mean he created Chidori even though he was never a ninja or practiced ninjutsu? :sdo:

Except we aren't complaining 123 is? He is the one who keeps bringing it up. We don't say anything about it until those who accept the filler material as canon start complaining about why we don't want to acept fillers as canon. The very purpose of fillers is to "fill" in what the manga didn't cover with material otherwise not in the manga. This includes made up characters that, if you notice, are never ever present in the manga at anytime. This can create plot holes or even rewrite certain events and facts that are in the manga.

This is why we do t all accept fillers as canon.
