[Discussion] Which country would/wouldn't you like to visit and why?

Globalisation broadened human capabilities, allowing us to travel faster and further. You can finish your revolution around the world in a week using average flights. This tightened bonds between states and created relations and partnerships between the countries. Making it easy to move from one niche to another.

I personally find this exciting. Along the way, I have grown into liking other countries and have countries I would like to and wouldn't like to visit.


Would like to visit
India:
Pros: I am cricket fanatic, I have friends in India I studied with, met on Facebook, have on whatsapp etc. Indian cuisines. I dream about seeing the Sentinelese tribe once in my life , loads of history.

Cons: I fear the news of their disdain for black people(encountered a few racist trolls on Facebook). I hope it's not an extensive issue. Heat issues, it can hit 40 C.


Brazil:
Pros: I only want to visit the Amazon jungle :|, where else in the world exist a rainforest that can have a canopy blocking 98% of sunlight in some parts, yeah unreal.

Cons: Serious gangster issues, watched some grotesque shooting videos. Hope it's just a low issue.


England:
Pros: Only want to see Roger Penrose and Isaac Newton's work... :|

Cons: Well, Weather...



Wouldn't want to visit:

USA: Because of the current activities happening.
Saudi Arabia: I fear a mistake that would have me being convicted or something.
Russia: Obvious reasons

USA and The Netherlands is the ones i'd like to visit the most. The ones I wouldn't visit are countries in the middle east, india, and other similar ones. They don't look like places i would ever want to see, well i geuss except UAE and specifically Dubai, since i wanna see Burj Khalifa.

Russia, Serbia and Armenia for ideological reasons. USA because they are the USA, Canada because I've seen spectacular pics. Iran appeals to me, as well as Indonesia. Kazakhstan has a city that I would like to visit

It seems we're opposites :Sparks: I prefer visiting those very places with "vegetation", "old temples", "Jungles", "history", "old temples". I don't like too developed countries (their history can be easily be manipulated by officials in the "museums"). Meanwhile an old indigenous poor man across the street can tell me real shit about India, Israel etc..

Places that I would like to visit:

Scandinavia, especially Sweden, is the region that I want to visit the most someday. I just love how the region looks, its cold climate and really appreciate their exemplary dealing with LGBT-rights. If I had the opportunity to fulfill one wish of mine, it would be moving to the scandinavian region.

Also, I'd really like to visit Japan one day. I've heard many good things about the country, such as a very polite society, clean street without garbage and in general a very different culture.

Central Africa is somewhere on my imaginary "list" as well, but only because of its flora and fauna. A safari-tour there would be so awesome. But the bad economy and the humans who live there scare me off.


Places that I will never visit:

The Middle East. The region is currently one of the most unstable ones in the world, which is currently the major reason why I would never go near this area. But even if this region was at peace, I'd never set foot in there, because the islamic culture is absolutely incompatible with my ideals and way of life.

North Korea, Russia and the USA are also regions that I do not want to visit because of how the societies and governments behave. NK is one of the worst places ever, Russia is crap too and the USA has many problems with its citizens and their politics are awful. Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and New York would be nice to visit, but that's not worth the trip, unfortunately.

Would visit: France because I can practice what little French I know and also see their culture in person. Also Portugal since I like their weather and find Portuguese fun to speak. Canada as well but I live right by Canada and already have visited. Amazing place, no complaints. Perhaps Japan as well because I'm curious.

Wouldn't visit: Australia because I feel anything and everything can kill you in the down under. Also don't know what's there....derp. Wouldn't visit some Asian countries because I hear they try to cheat tourists a lot.

Mixed feelings on Africa. It's pretty hot there, some countries are unstable, and wild life is dangerous....

In all the mayhems happening in the world, there is 1 country that minded its own business and never intervened. And it happened to be North Korea.
I really never felt the need to visit USA really.
