Well that's a good point and yes we can't let my wish create a void. I'd gladly be a prophet but I am no prophet material. So I'd like to add to my previous wish and along with that I would give people a means to understand each other. Lets say something similar to a universal consciousness which'd be like a platform where the entire civilization can reach a consensus and move on further based on that. Its like providing them with a real time democracy, whether they survive or end up destroying each other is up to them. At least they'd have the freedom to choose.
And I'd like a personal Island for myself.

On a serious note, the "take from the rich and give to the poor" deal, as I used it, would be exclusive. Means you'd have to fill a certain criteria in order to have the right to Robin Hood services. For example, the struggling famillies that actually want to work would be able to live normally while a lowlife junky who wants to live off someone else's work would continue to starve.

My point remains the same. You would be doing more bad than good.

Stealing or robbing anyone of their money/riches they honestly earned is simply bad karma and will not lead any positive result in the long run. It's anther thing to convince them to give more opportunities to poor or provide them work and not let them exploit others.

Best rulers weren't the ones who distributed their wealth for free while making people too dependent on charity and less motivated to work but the ones who created some of the best monuments during the famines by giving people work and food in return.

I think you got something wrong. I'm not talking about building a system around this or some goverment that goes for financial equality. What I'm going for here is in perfect spirit of the thread's title - a crime I could get away with. Simply taking from those I consider to have too much and give to those I consider to have too little. Really not going for a morally right thing here.

Just using crime to help those in need at the expense of the elite who can and will get over it eventually. (+ I don't buy the karma deal so a pirate life's for me mate)

I suppose it's a personal dislike for the idea to an extent. Around here too many criminals used this strategy to gain supporters and spies for themselves and tried to present themselves as some kind of messiah of the poor and the rebel fighter for a good cause.

One should work for their basic needs and get proper pay for it. Charity is good. Giving timely help to people who are needy is better.

But free stuff without working for it makes people selfish and less motivated to work. So that part needs to be checked too. What you can do is to promote charity as a virtue and give some kind of incentives however little to encourage the rich but put some checks so that the poor section doesn't turn in to lazy and useless part of the society taking the charity for granted.


What I would do if I get away with it- drive a motorbike without a helmet- that messes up my hair.
