Neji vs. Sasuke at time of the Chunin Exam finals

Who do you guys think was stronger at this point? Sure Naruto won against Neji, but Kurama carried him. Sasuke did beat Gaara tho. Chidori vs Rotation would be interesting along with Neji's gentle fist vs. Sasuke's fire style

- Has Chidori that pierced through Gaara's defense (Sand Dome), it very likely could Neji's (Rotation).

- And the Curse Mark which significantly increases his Speed, Strength, and Power. Making him unquestionably faster, and powerful enough to pierce through his defense. He would definitely overwhelm Neji.

Sasuke's speed wouldn't pose a huge threat, but at least sauce has ninjutsu. So Katon would help too. Like I said. Good match.

The match was interrupted because Sasuke had significantly injured him. Seconds afterwards Gaara passed out. Temari and Kankuro took him and ran, Sasuke chased them for awhile whilst Gaara rested, then he woke up, went Bijuu, and acted like he was Boss.

Gaara tried going Bijuu in the Staduim. That's why he enclosed himself in the Sand dome. When Sasuke pierced through it with Chidori, the ritual was interrupted. Thus resulting in Gaara having nothing left.

It was Sasuke's complete victory.

I hate the plot excuse. Use in story reasonings. Despite Nejj closing all his chakra points, Naruto won because the Kyuubi within him forced them open when he gave Naruto some of his chakra to use.

He actually did beat Gaara then the destruction of the leaf happened which got them disqualified. Ofc Sasuke lost after though he was just drained of chakra from CM and still using jutsu's. While Gaara was transforming.

I think Neji honestly would've won.

He's faster, also has extra perception through the Byakugan, and has a superior Taijutsu style as well along with Kaiten which makes him very tricky to deal with at close-range.

Yea which means he backtracks , since he cant beat neji in taijutsu and cqc would be too dangerous for him.

Different mechanics , sand dome doesn't knock away chakra nor does it share kaitens repelling/deflecting properties , two things that hard counter chidori unlike sand dome which is weak to it.

- And the Curse Mark which significantly increases his Speed, Strength, and Power. Making him unquestionably faster, and powerful enough to pierce through his defense. He would definitely overwhelm Neji.

CM was restrained/sealed by kakashi and would've made matters worse for him , also he cant even control it and he released it due to over-doing his chidori.

Sasuke was geared to fight gaara , not neji he wins low diff.
