According to the title of episode 465 from this thread :

It's title is Ashura and Indra another filler about People we wanted to know about.

So i have this feeling that Kishi wanted to talk about them in details but couldn't for the deadline , so he contacted the anime studio and told them the script of the *filler* , and they added it to the story since they have all the time in the world .

First they added a backstory for Kaguya Hagoromo Hamura and now Ashura and Indra . To me they're all canon they are all part of the story kishi wanted to tell .

They're not just irrelevant characters like yota tenten sora guren They're the origin of the naruto universe , it all started with Ashura and Indra afterall !

Sure, I am done here. But you're an idiot if you believe SP's Kaguya backstory is consistent with what we know from the manga. I suggest you read the manga as well.

Never said that. But whatever SP throws at you other than the official canon is just filler with a lot of inconsistencies. So if they do an Indra Ashura backstory it'd be filler only and I am done with fillers.

You're saying the kaguya filler was inconsistent and it never happened in the manga , in the manga they were all narrations with no details , im done with you just go read some manga and ignore the anime kts for your own good

So as per the manga, Hagoromo split the Juubi into Bijuus when he was old whereas in the filler he created them as soon as he took conrol of the juubi. So you're ready to accept the anime deviating from the canon and creating shitty fillers, then I am done with you.

The only reason that Manga is supposedly more canon than Anime is because Anime came after Manga. Which is as small a difference as Hizashi coming after Hiashi. Anime is simply an adaptation to the Manga that provides detail that the Manga doesn't. Because the Manga clings strictly to the main story line, it doesn't have time to fill in all the extra information. Hence, Anime.

Not in its entirety as I pointed out one of the inconsistencies and that's makes it filler in my eyes. They made a story out of what little details Kishi had given in the manga and still couldn't create one that is consistent with the manga.
