Actually they're quite different. Both in range and abilities.

Not really, both are space time techniques, both can open dimensions, both can send objects into another dimension and both can be used as teleportation. Only difference is Kamui gives you intangibility but that intangibility is used by sending your own body parts or body parts from victims to another dimension...
