Favourite anime: Well, i haven't touched anime in like a month or so... The last one i finished that i actually enjoyed was Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

Manga: I don't particularly like reading manga but the only manga i'm following as this moment is Tokyo Ghoul:Re and Akame ga kill.

I think those are the best newer Anime.

The anime was garbage and consisted in only shock value of dying characters. The manga is quite different, it hasn't finished yet but some drastic changes have been made compared with the anime.

I liked the anime. I mainly like the complex character development. Great animation. Really engages you ;o I rate 8/10 so far

Still watching the anime never read the manga -_-

Kabaneri of the Iron fortrees (attack on titan rip off, but less exciting)
Bleach (definitely worth to watch, but it went downhill during the fullbringer arc)

What have you read so far?

Black clover is a good manga. One Punchman is you like spoof manga.

If you read manhwas , the breaker, breaker the new waves, Dice, Black Haze, Tower of gods, Noblesse etc may interest you.

Hapy Mary and Orange Marmalade if you like romance..

Well, if we're only talking recently, I guess it goes to No Game No Life for anime. This is very much what Yu-Gi-Oh started out intending to be before all the card games. Characters use wits to win games where they bet whatever they want on.
Haven't read any new manga though.

However, as for general recommendations, I liked the following series very much:

Death Note - watched the live action film when I was 11, read the manga when I was 15 and watched the anime when I was 16. Remains my favourite series. If you like Sherlock Holmes, this is definitely for you. It also poses many philosophical questions. Main characters are incredibly intelligent and use wits to catch each other out. Very realistic, and just beautifully written. 37 episodes or 108 chapters.

Code Geass - watched the anime when I was 15, read the manga when I was 16. Manga wasn't' that great but the anime was. The main protagonist is among the coolest anime characters there is. He also uses wits to win battles. The only downside about this series is the mech genre. Though honestly, it's so good that I overlook it. If you like politics, or just wars, terrorism, lone geniuses and creative powers, this is for you. 50 episodes.

One Piece - Started when I was 8. I see you like Naruto; One Piece is very similar. Not really much to say here, as you probably understand what I'm on about.

Monster - This is perhaps the most mature series I've seen. Watched it when I was 15/16. No super powers unlike other series. Many philosophical problems are posed in this series and, like Death Note, it makes you question your own morals. It can be a bit slow at times. It's aimed for those that are 20+ as it is a seinen. Best antagonist in all fiction is in this series. This series makes you love all the main characters and even some of the supporting characters. 70ish episodes.

Pokemon Adventures - Read the manga when I was 11. Very, very good. Stopped after the Emerald chapter because I started losing interest as it got a bit repetitive after that and I didn't really like the new characters. However, the creator of Pokemon has stated that this is the universe that was closest to the one he wished to portray in the games as opposed to the anime. It's more mature than the anime (there's a famous scene where an Arbok gets cut in half by a Charmeleon) and the characters are so much more likable. The rival is not an obnoxious douche and the protagonist is not a retard. It's really good until the end of Emerald. I think it gets very good again at the end of Diamond/Peral and into Platinum but I never got that far.

Beyblade - Now here me out. This is actually really underrated. Watched it when I was 4-7 but rewatched it out of nostalgia with my little sisters when I was 14. While the concept sounds very stupid, just look past it. Look at the character development. It has four young boys on a journey of growth while progressing at a sport. The second series is complete rubbish and can be considered filler but the third is even better than the first; the end to the story. I'd say don't watch it unless you watched it when you were younger and want nostalgia, but if you wanna give it a go, shoot. 52 episodes per season.

Yu-Gi-Oh Season 0 - 24 episodes. First read when I was 11. Watched the anime when I was 17. Very dark, but very good. Give it a shot. No card games (for the most part at least) and Yugi thinks himself out of things such as scammers, hostage situations and whatnot.

Hunter x Hunter/Tokyo Ghoul. Still waiting on Highschool DxD next season.

Manga ending > Anime ending = Film ending IMO (only because it felt rushed. It was good nonetheless).

Kinda disagree a little about the overrated maturity. Though, I haven't watched it since 3 years ago when I was 15...

Haha I haven't read the manga either. I will once my final exams are done.
