Some people won't believe me but it would make more sense if Naruto dies cause really his parent died and Naruto isn't the main protagonist no more , it's boruto time to shine, if naruto continue to stay alive, people would only care about him more than Boruto.
Furthermore, Boruto is more or less like Sasuke. Sasuke lost his family at young age but at the very least he was able to experience having family, this will put Boruto at the same boat.

Only remain is his little sister Himawari the same way with Sasuke older brother. There's no way Boruto is gonna have some eye transplant from his little sister when the possible outcome is least likely especially when it's about new generation.

I think Boruto will get byakugan from Hinata and she will probably die under some boulder or something the same incident with Obito. Hinata has always been hinted to die at some point in this series so it would make more plausible sense than to some random hyuga.

Nah, I don't see how Hiashi will be involve with this especially there's no panel of Hiashi having special bond with Boruto and their family, Hiashi is pretty irrelavant. The manga isn't really filler when kishi was superising.

Being capable of creating countless strategies is a testament to his overly large IQ. Shikamaru isn't a Prodigy, his son is.

Shikamaru's abilities basically showcase that he's an Average Shinobi with an overly large brain. Compare what Shikidai did with his shadow techniques in contrast to what Shikamaru can do. However, compare what Shikamaru can do with less compared to his Prodigal son.
