One simply can't run away from eye contact no matter how fast he is

I hear people saying either the raikage or minato can run away from eye contact, that's a no no, you can't see someone's eye and run away from it after making eye contact, as long as eye contact is made its done deal, no amount of speed/teleportation would help you, raikage saw sasuke's sharingan (he saw it even evolving) so his speed aint saving his ass if he was facing the likes of itachi whose a genjutsu specialist, and ftg is sure as hell aint saving minato if eye contact is made, aizen is a common example, one simply can't shunpo/sonido/hirankyaku away from kyoukasuigetsu no matter how fast they are as long as you layed your eyes its done deal, your only option is to avoid eye contact

It's not just eye contact. Itachi uses genjutsu from his fingers/limbs and even crows. He easily counters Minato, but Minato is still strong

Minato fanboys are as stupid as he himself is. Even after hypothesizing that the guy is an Uchiha, he's still looking at his face. He's done after he makes the eye contact. Sasuke not using genjutsu on Raikage when he was still charging his V2 cloak was nothing but poor plot, as the fight would have been over then.

Neither of you know how much experience Minato has with genjutsu or his ability to release. You're jumping to conclusions by assuming he hasn't had experience with fighting Uchiha before.

1) He controlled a perfect Jin. Sure, not strong at all.
2) What isn't shown in the manga doesn't exist. It's a product of fictions. So, yes, we have ample evidence to go for here that there is zero evidence to support Minato being some kind of genjutsu Kai expert, which doesn't even work for Sharingan Genjutsu: 3T or otherwise.

Naah if that's the case then they won't claim raikage is fast enough to avoid eye contact AFTER making eye contact due to him being too fast (it does'nt even make sense but yea that's what they think) + alive minato did make eye contact with obito so he aint too fast to not get caught + he is also a close range fighter which makes him prone to getting caught much easier

They will make an eye contact when they went for strike/attack. In here(this thread) even though you're FTG user once eye contact is being made even in split second, in no way FTG movement will help you avoiding a Genjutsu after that eye contact happen as some people suggest they could avoid it bcus of speed. Genjutsu was an unwarned jutsu also cant be sense by mere naked eyes.

How is any Uchiha supposed to make eye contact when he's teleporting all over the place? Gai in part 1 was able to fight an Uchiha just by looking at their feet and Minato is just as accomplished a shinobi if not more, wouldn't common sense indicate he can do the same? Gai was also fighting Itachi while looking in his eyes, guess that makes him an idiot too, huh? And Sasuke must be an idiot for looking Juubito in the eye for the entirety of their match when there's no guarantee he could have broke out, right?

Do you realize how dumb it is to call a character out for being an idiot for looking an Uchiha in the eye?
