Yang Chakra from Hagoromo is equivalent to Ashura's which is not linked towards Rikudou Senjutsu.
Naruto would still be lacking the Yin Energy needed to use Rikudou Senjutsu, so it makes sense that he obtained Hagoromo's Chakra and along that, managed to obtain mastery over Senjutsu.
You don't need that yin half to get rikudou senjutsu since ashura himself had it.

^These have to be TSB considering that ashura was no jin.
TSB is a sign of rikudou senjutsu. It says that when an individual manifests (literally "blossoms" 開花) Six Paths Senjutsu, black orbs comprising the power of all five elements and yin-yang appear, forming a circle that floats behind them.
But Hagoromo's Yin Chakra is something Indra inherited yet he inherited the Sharingan.
Sasuke didn't have a pair of Rinnegan because his Rinnegan acts similar to Kaguya's as both possesses the Sharingan's power though clearly, Kaguya's is a superior variant. Since Sasuke's Rinnegan and Sharingan were both expressed through his left eye, it makes sense that he had both Indra's and Rikudou's Chakra which meant that he directly received Hagoromo's complete chakra. This makes sense considering the Databook states that Sasuke received the Rinnegan from Hagoromo which is only linked to both Yin and Yang portions of Hagoromo's chakra
.
That's because indra didn't directly get chakra from hagoromo, chakra passed down genetically get watered down. Yes he did reciveve the rinnegan from hagormo via hagoromo's yin chakra.
Then you can explain how suddenly obtaining more of Ashura's Chakra would lead to Naruto obtaining RSM when he doesn't have Indra's chakra.
It's really a simple explanation. Both only inherited half of Hagoromo's power, so it makes sense that both obtained only 1 of Hagoromo's Powers
That's because it's hagoromo's own chakra, mane. Not only that but all the bijuu chakra contribute to it.
Here's more proof. Six Paths Chibaku Tensei" is a more powerful version that requires two individuals simultaneously combining the power of Yin and Yang
Sasuke would not existed at all if Kishimoto not first created Naruto the star of the series. Sasuke has no reason for existence without Naruto to Be His core in reality.

That doesn't make sense. Ashura's chakra is not the reason for why he obtained RSM and we know this because Indra was unable to awaken the Rinnegan. Ashura's chakra was stated to be equal to Indra's chakra, so it makes no sense that Ashura's chakra could awaken a Six Paths Power, but Indra's couldn't.
The most likely conclusion is that Ashura received it from Hagoromo as Hagoromo has always given Ashura more power.
Ashura also wouldn't have been able to use TSB had he not have Indra's Chakra as TSB utilizes Six Path's Yin Release which Ashura did not have without Rikudou's Chakra.
That's because indra didn't directly get chakra from hagoromo, chakra passed down genetically get watered down. Yes he did reciveve the rinnegan from hagormo via hagoromo's yin chakra.
Indra didn't get the Rinnegan because he never had the Yang component of Hagoromo's chakra whereas Sasuke did which is why Sasuke could awaken the Rinnegan.

It's not because it would lack the Yin component needed to have Rikudou's Chakra.
Six Paths Chibaku Tensei is clearly referring to the Yin and Yang Seals which are separate from Rikudou's Chakra. Even Rikudou Sennin only had the Yang Seal despite having both Yin and Yang.
