Even with intel, one of them is dying. They only win if it's not Naruto or Shikamaru. When one of them dies, he goes into 4T and wrecks Hidan enough for Shikamaru to incapacitate him. High diff.

Doesn't need to perform any ritual. Levels are leagues apart, only chance is Naruto goes berserk after seeing one of his comrades die in front of him.

-Part 2 Shikamaru's shadows couldn't catch Hidan, even with Asuma pressuring him so SRA Shika's shadow posession isn't catching him either.
-Hidan's speed and skill in kenjutsu was shown to be on par with Early Shippuden Kakashi's, who blitzed Neji in the Chuunin exams before he could strike Hinata from a meter away. 64 Palms isn't likely to do anything to Hidan either, due to immortality and the fact that his curse doesn't even use chakra (that we known of.) at the same time, I don't see how Hidan and his scythe could get past rotation so I wonder how he takes out Neji.
-Kiba probably poses the biggest threat since he can cut Hidan in half and with his teammates distracting Hidan, he can nail him like he did Sakon/Ukon.
-Naruto's shadow clones aren't all that useful except to act as distractions.

Overall I think the Genin can win this.

About the jonnin blitzing Neji, they ALL reached there at the same time, even Kurenai. So we can assume Kakashi wasn't even at full speed. The difference here is too damn high.

The gennin can't win this. Kiba's garoga gets dodged. The rest of them would get sliced without the need for the ritual. Butterfly choji gets outlasted, Neji can't keep up rotation for ever (the only move he has against Hidan's superior speed). Naruto is fodder. Shikamaru is fodder.

Gentle fist is not causign internal damage to hidan, the only thing it would do is to close the chakra points (anyways Neji doesn't have the speed in part 1 to land a single hit on hidan). If Hidan let himself get hit by 64 palms there would be internal damage. The effect it would have is a different story

Hidan can still feel the pain, and his body is like any other humans. It's just that he can't be killed is all. If Hidan were to be struck in his chakra points he'd crumble over, though he'd still be alive. Neji could stalemate Hidan in CQC due to rotation honestly.

When has Neji ever used the two techniques back to back that quickly? I don't think he'd be able to jump the gap and complete 64 palms before hidan just jumps backwards.
