The official polls ended years ago.

Ended in 2011 and almost all of those polls had Sasuke in the top 10 and majority in the top 5 with Sasuke even beating Naruto a couple of times in votes.So unless hell froze over which resulted in Sasuke being not only kicked out of the top 10 but entering the most hated characters in 4 years when he held the top 10 spot for a decade I will take those results over some unknown unscientific internet poll on the internet

Well, she's on my 'I don't care' list...

And Gaara, I just don't see him fit in NV. Even though he's a Kage his shinobi basics are even below average, he should've been in the Avatar show, in the end he's just a sand bender...

You can have a well written character and still hate his guts tho. Some characters are intended to be hated but still well written.

Gaara lost almost all of his hype after being beaten by Naruto. He lost his mad edge and became too much of a Naruto fanboy which took away from the hype he had prior to becoming a Kage.

Also its no suprise Gaara lost. Its the Akatsuki we are talking about here. They were hyped in Part 1 from Jiraiya's words as he was collecting information, Naruto almost shitting his pants when he first saw Itachi and Kisame. All these guys except for a few like Sasori and Konan are shinobi's able to capture tailed beasts.

Ikr. He should invent new jutsu after revived by chiyo so at least he should be on par with other kages. While in last arc all i remember he flew people using his sand pftt

Yeah your right he did become quite useful in the War Arc which sets him apart from other fodder chars that had relevance in Part 1, then went to becoming a support character.

He made his sand lighter, to grab Edo Madara out of his Susanoo, still got wrecked in the end but that's ok because PS one shotted all 5.

Then later when Gaara was working with Shukaku they performed a great sealing technique together but it was foiled by Madara's V2 Susanoo when he broke out.

Gaara make a heck of a comeback though through his leadership and strength. That I will give him kudos for after getting trashed in the First Arc of Shippuden. The depth of his character despite if he won or lost made him interesting to me, because he always tries and does not cry for Naruto every time something goes amiss.

Yeah I agree with this. Sasuke is typically hated because he was set to be an emo boy after Itachi's death and his arrogance, but people can't seem to snap out of their narrow mindedness that Sasuke was a well written character smh.

He is kage afterall so he should not only looked up to naruto. He needs to protect his people too. Tbh i will watch if the filler episode focus on gaara.
