The sasuke that fought Gaara is not blitzing Neji. Sasuke's speed was similar to pre-gated lee, While lee himself was relying on his Gates to defeat neji and statement himself that he was saving 5th gate reverse lotus for neji

You asserted that lee 5th gate would neg Neji without even a proof. Naruto went on kyuubi mode to beat neji with great speed and raw power and if that doesn't convince you enough then why naruto and Neji power surging though the whole stadium
