It was never stated Jiraiya's barrier tactic was only restricted for invisible things either. You simply assumed so because he said he needed one to fight an invisible thing. in the only real fight he had
As Danzo needed to use that fuuton to bust through susanoo, While his others were blocked with zero damage.

Danzo is like the pay to win nub or bug abuser of any MMORPG. Couldn't become OP through his own abilities so he had to abuse the system. He probably pushed for the Uchiha clan massacre just so he could collect those Sharingan and go running to his boyfriend Orochimaru for even more hax.

Sensing has many uses, not just being able to detect invisible foes, Jiraiya simply used it for one use, doesn't mean it is the main use of the jutsu by any means.

Once Jiraiya makes it into Sage Mode, which will be easy given his ability to sense w/ the barrier, clones and the toad summons, he just slaps Danzo around until Izanagi runs out. Danzo's moveset is useless here as all his powerful techs revolve around Fuuton, which Jiraiya hard counters with Katon. If he engages in CQC Ma and Pa tear him apart or Jiraiya just pastes him with COR. When he finally dies, reverse trigrams is evaded.

Again, Danzo gets boned.

I guess, I just don't se how he's getting past Izanagi, I read your response and I just don't see the barrier working seeing as how Izanagi basically reverse the effects of what happens to the user. Danzo also that sealing jutsu and with no intel, it could be tough

Danzo doesn't need to unseal his arm to use KA. Jiraiya kills him one time without having to summon anything with some generic rasengan type business and danzo appears behind him and ends it.

What you are suggesting happens is ridiculous and probably the most unrealistic battle scenario for Jiraiya's character that I have ever seen. It's clear you are grasping at straws here.

-Thinks Jiraiya will charge headfirst with a regular Rasengan against a guy who he believes has obtained strange abilities.
-Thinks Jiraiya will not try and enter Sage Mode against a guy who he believes has obtained strange abilities.
-Thinks Jiraiya will not summon even though it's part of his fighting style. Something he does more often than using Rasengan.
-Thinks Danzo will let himself get killed by Jiraiya in the first place instead of trying to counter attack when he comes in for the Rasengan.

That makes no sense. Izanagi being able to reverse damage done to him has nothing to do with the barrier's effectiveness, and his sealing jutsu is irrelevant unless Jiraiya lets Danzo touch him. Danzo has no way to do anything significant to Jiraiya, so he can't win.
