Well, we haven't really tasted it. It's more like we looked at a plate of mac n cheese, except it doesn't look like a plate of mac n cheese that we're used to.

Everyone has difference taste so it's look and taste are opinionated and it seems unanimous that the look of the dish is bad. And that the taste will be too.

There's a difference between knowing whether something tastes or looks good, or bad, and having an understanding of why and how something tastes or looks good.
A regular person would say, "wow this steak tastes good." An expert in the cooking field would say "Wow this tastes good. The salt blends nicely with the onion broth and has been cooked to the perfect rarity. The the caramelized kale was a nice touch. I can see you roasted this evenly at 350 degrees."
being knowledgeable about a subject and having a particular view on a subject are two different things.
In other words, don't speak heavily on what you don't understand heavily.

You keep posting anime content as if that's relevant to this thread. One, That animation style was an abstract attempt to represent Naruto from a different perspective, particularly one with fast-paced movement. You taking it at face value only shows your lack of enlightenment. Two, it's anime and has nothing to do with my initial point.

I'm posting anime content to illustrate that you don't have to be an artist or able to draw in order to call bad art, bad. No one would defend the images I've posted as being good. It's tragic because SP can actually animate pretty well when they want to. Look at early Naruto anime, and their recent Naruto movies.

It's tragic because SP can actually animate pretty well when they want to. Look at early Naruto anime, and their recent Naruto movies.

There are people who appreciate the images you posted. It was art portrayed differently than average. It was fluid and organically to suggest fast paced motions and unnatural speeds. The unrealistic motions represented that passion and aggression from the characters. Just because you can't understand where the animator is coming from doesn't make it universally bad.
Different doesn't mean worse.

^this. Part of the mangaka's job is to make art, so he/she deserves criticism even if the reader's art skill is below theirs.
