So let's say there was a expose about a person who admitted to lusting after her young cousin and sharing crotch shots of the kid around several chat logs.

Now let's imagine that instead of the reaction Jared Fogle got,people instead rush to this person's defense,and one of them offered a pic of his daughter to "cheer that person up".

What would your opinion of those people be?

Not trying to condone the behavior but these people are sick. I think people who have the urge but have never acted on it should be able to seek help without the fear of ridicule. But for those that have hurt a child in anyway I feel like they should be castrated and forced to live in communities where they have to stay, segregated from the rest of the population. On one hand, you can't pick what you're attracted to. It's not like you could just decide to be gay one day, you just like what you like. But on the other hand children are far too vulnerable to being exploited and are too young to even think about attraction like an adult does.

For that reason I think everyone attracted to children should be kept away from them and never be allowed to be alone with them. In my eyes child abuse is a worse crime than murder and the only crime I would consider a death penalty sentence for.
