Does Minato have any realiable methods of sealing an Edo on his own, not including Reaper Death Seal? If he can't seal him (without also sealing himself), it's a stalemate. I'm only asking because I don't remember. Minato would easily destroy a living Deidara.

He's already shown the ability to use C1's reactiong to Hebi Sasuke Shunsin speed, if you think he's being caught off guard by a kunai you're a fool.


Unless this is full intel Minato has no knowledge on C4, so he's not going to go out of his way to make a FTG seal miles away.

C2 shouldn't hit him persay but can pressure him.

Summoning is the only real problem but that gets blasted out of the sky via C2, or Deidara has a clone place mines underground thus ending the toad wherever he steps.

It's not a rape.

A single tagged Kunai will get countered by one of his smaller bombs. Half of Sasuke's win was accredited to his Raiton, and it was still no easy task for him. Minato would take Alive Deidara out in a similar way to Sasuke though, letting him play it out until C0 and then swiftly teleporting away.

And even if Shishō Fūin was designed for people (which it's not), sealing Edo Deidara inside yourself isn't a practical long-term solution. The fourth databook points out that the aforementioned's counterpart, Ura Shishō Fūin, was designed for sealing people away and keeping them in... Where the former was designed for drawing power out.

And here's another caveat; if he did use Shishō Fūin to seal Edo Deidara, and Edo Deidara was under his own control, the latter could cancel himself and end up taking Minato with him back to the Pure Land because of the bind that exists between them.


Of course Minato is much more skilled, quicker etc but being Edo, he has opportunities and advantages that he didn't have when he was alive.
