Tobirama without ET and FTG only has kage bunshin and water jutsus. He doesn't have a lot of chances of beating itachi here.

His water jutsu are much greater than itachis fire and water jutsu, tobirama counters him in that department. Tobiramas stamina takes an enormous dump on itachis as well (so he can spam clones to his hearts content). Tobiramas speed is still up there without ftg, being the fastest of his time and all. Not to mention his sensory prowess allows him to anticipate itachis attacks even better.

How does he not have a much chance at beating itachi? What is itachi actually gonna do to him apart from genjutsu?

Tobirama is faster than Itachi and has the means to use multiple clones that ensure that he lands a hit on Itachi

Itachi can't distinguish between the original and the clone. And with many of the clones around Tobirama can either break them free of genjutsu or it's just not happening given the experience and knowledge that Tobirama has on the sharingan

Katons either get evaded or countered by Suitons or Itachi just gets wide open for the other clones or so to attack him

Crow clones and itachis clones get outnumbered and poofed till Itachi eventually gets a sword through him or diced up by suidanha
Outlasting is also not helping Itachi

Yes i had already conceeded on this. Tobirama still beats him.

Tobirama has a vast speed advantage and there's the fact that he's been fighting(slaughtering) Uchiha all his life. · Tobirama can deploy 6 clones to attack Itachi.(Clones can't be affected by genjutsu)

Once genjutsu is out the way Tobirama can simply counter his Katon via Suiton and him and his clones proceed to beat the shit out of Itachi Uchiha with or without ftg doesn't change the outcome here.

Tobirama isn't that much faster than Itachi, in fact I question if he's even faster at all footspeed wise.

• SM sensing isn't like regular sensing so that's not happeneing.
• Clones get countered by exploding clones etc.

It really isn't when Tobirama's counter to the regular Uchiha genjustu is most likely sensing, while Itachi's genjustu can't be picked up sensing like in the manga. Tobirama countering genjustu simply because he's fought other Uchihas in this case isn't valid.
