I was pleasantly surprised at the episode.I was expecting really low quality animation , but it was really nice.Granted the artwork sucked at times, but naruto's mode looked prety good, also that sasuke and naruto combined attack was pretty good too.The animation was slow,but good.So thats the end of madara ,i guess

I knew that Sasuke "blitzing" Madara scene was always exaggerated. He looked slow as hell in this episode. This is the same guy who couldn't reach a portal in time that was only 20m away from him.

I guess the 8 gates were exaggerated to, Gai didn't even look all that impressive in the animation

This episode was amazing! 4/5 just because the animation wasn't THAT great..
And jeez Sakura how long does it take to stab an eye?!

Never noticed, thanks. So then how did his arm later regenerate, because it clearly wasnt regenerating after he was freed from the rods.

5/5. This is a good example of a great artwork but low animation. It's like the polar opposite of that one pain episode which had amazing animation and terrible artwork.

Next week looks average. Sadly there's only 2 more canon episodes, and then it's a filler arc again...

Didn't you watch previous episodes? Same was with Minato's arm.
Madara is using Yin & Yang release, which means everything that Truth-Seeking Ball touches is going to be abtargened, even jutsu like Edo Tensei. That is why Minato is not able to have his arm regenerated. They mentioned it in previous episodes.

I did not really read the manga, only watch anime, so I won't make a spoilers to myself and is so happens, then sorry. Maybe you are right.

Well, this was underwhelming. Animators are doing a poor job at showing how fast these guys are moving, especially Sasuke cutting Madara in two, it took so long for him to get to Madara episode-wise. Wasn't he suppose to teleport? The episode felt dull, same boring sound-track, lazy art-work and animation. Less than satisfactory to me. 2/5
