Honestly at this point I'd rather he just stop issuing weekly's, work on the project at his leisure then release it all in a package once it's finished. I'd rather wait 3 years with nothing than 9-10 months at a time for 5-6 chapters. Let's let the man take his time and get us a good product.

It's a long running joke that he plays Dragon Quest all day because of a DQ related notice he made in a HxH chapter. Even the HxH anime joked around and decided to go on hiatus to play DQ.
I would hardly consider HxH in its starting stages. There is about 350 chapters worth of content. Most shows don't even last that long.....
Just as an example Naruto by chapter 349 was at Sasuke assembling Taka....hardly the starting stages.
Rave Master is also 296 chapters, HxH has 349.
Since when number of chapters indicate how far story has progressed?
Story of Kurapika started before hunter exam and we didn't learn his BG story properly till 2011 - by that time Itachi was dead. Now the Naruto manga is over and Kurapika's story is yet to be finished. The story of spiders is unfinished along with him- we barely know about them. Ging the zodiacs ... I am not even referring to them yet... I can go on but I think I made my point.
That's thanks to the hiatuses ofc. I'm pretty sure Kurapika's backstory will be revealed in greater detail because one of the princes has his childhood's friend head (fan-theory which is most likely true) & the rest of the scarlet eyes:

If Togashi had an assistant this series would of been done a while ago. There's been a lot of progression in those 349 chapters, the main cast have finished or are extremely close to completing their lifetime goals. I do agree we should of gotten Kurapika's backstory already in detail but it's just as good for saving it for the Dark Continent arc. There's more issues with the series than that.
Actually, I gotta thank Togashi for his hiatus. I started reading/watching more series because of the hiatuses xD (like Toriko, Berserk, FT, FMA:B, etc.).

So? One Piece has been going on for years and we haven't even seen guys like Shanks fight. We know nothing of the void century. The gorosei. etc.
The point is Hunter X Hunter is not in its starting stages. It already has everything built up, the laws and basics of the show have been covered. We have seen top tiers already go full out.
The fact that HxH has 350 chapters of quality over Rave master still holds true.

Togashi probably doesn't care about the game at this point. He'd be seriously hurting himself trying to play the game, as he needs to rest his back a lot because he's healing. His surgery takes ~1 year to heal from and that's the average healing time. Togashi did the surgery on October if I'm not wrong, so we'll need to wait a few more months to know anything.
I'm pretty sure we'll get something HxH before the end of this year. Togashi always does this.

What? Is the release of a game reason to go on hiatus? I don't follow HxH (because of the hiatus) so I don't know this mangaka but come on.
Well all we know is that Pairo's head matches the head above the 4th Prince. I think 4th prince likes to create art out of dead bodies so maybe he's trying to create the perfect art-piece.
Who would actually compare those legendary artist to Togashi's art lol.

My information was that the HxH mangaka was really ill, so I couldn't imagine something like that about him at all.

Did I say that H x H is in starting stages? No.This is what I said:
I was referring to especially the ones where writers lose motivation to finish it before the ending of story and just drop it or go on indefinite hiatuses. Togashi isn't first and he wouldn't be last. But, he did end his previous work suddenly too. His statements about being a perfectionist and then what he gives to his readers contradicts with what readers get from him, IMO. I can ignore the art problem but I want to see the ending of story. I want him to get some assistants- other than his wife if need be and manage this hiatus mess better. Deal with it. Feel free to give me a call when H x H is really over to everyone's satisfaction and it's not just an unfinished product.
They were trying to make it look like DQ gaming was the reason for that kind of art.
