Are you crazy? :'D

It is disrespectful, to call somaone by short name? :'D are you retarded?

Hes like the hokage. We are all his family, i love his work, but why should i call him the japanese way in my country, when hes not in front of me!?

I am not crazy I have seen many of you saying kishi with witty comments
You know what first impression does it make?
I seems we are some people following a person who is your typical sidekick writer!!
Before coming to NB I always thought if naruto fans find out people saying bad things about naruto then they would shut the person right away
And at NB fans just criticize him all the time even when the chapter is pretty good..
Out of love? Seriously? Are you crazy?

My ftiends and family often call me Chris imstead of Christopher...
That's so disrespectful. They really seem to hate me because of that. I should slaughter them all.

Seems legit, doesn't it?

Do you hear the sound of the Wayne-Train?

Yeah.

''Kishi'' is very disrespectful and annoying imo. Is there any point in even mention the name? why not just say the author, or criticize the work directly, instead of making ignorant statements about him.

Western community is garbage, so you can't expect much from their ilk ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Here majority of people just wants to be noticed and thus say absurd things
This makes a bad impression
If I want to recommend naruto manga to others and if they see NB with fans criticizing naruto creator every time then what do you think... will they continue?!
And Japan is famous for giving and taking respect!

Those witty comments are something else. If someone doesn't enjoy naruto or kishis work, it's not my problem. I don't care at all. I love his work and 8f someone else doesn't, it's his problem..
I think, calling him kishi, wouldnt even bother him.

Ok weeaboo calm down
He's a manga artist, not God
If we want to call him kishi we can
Do you think kishi would really be deeply offended by a nickname? If so, that's pretty lame

Calling Kishi is not disrespect, and Kishi should be respected for his 15 years of Hard Work, it is not like your average person could have come up are created Naruto. I enjoyed Kishi's work.

A. You are not the creator of naruto
B. I can't call him kishi in front of him so why should I say so behind his back

A. A person is known and respected by the work he or she does..is anything else considered besides that?..
Nah...........as I stated I only respect his work and talent
B.I think after every mangaka's name sensei is used especially if you are one of his or her manga's fan
I'm not a fan of him, that's the point. Being a fan of naruto=/= being a fan of kishi
C.if you ever meet him will you say kishi in front of him?!..
Sup Kishimoto :|
Then why saying that behind his back?
[/QUOTE
????Hell are you talking about?

I have noticed that in NB many people disrespect kishimoto sensei..!!
Saying like [kishi+absurd comments], kishimo no,etc
He isn't your buddy or anything
I thought Japan was all about giving and taking respect..
So giving some respect to the person who created a manga which you all are fan of and the reason why you are here in NB..!!
Some respect won't harm you!!..
Saying kishi or something won't make you cool either it represent the way you disregard him and then spending your time here while disregarding the creator of naruto will only make you a hypocrite..!!!
So give respect and take respect..

Why should i respect someone i don't even know? I read a manga he wrote, a manga that made him a filthy milionaire. So i dont owe him any respect at all. I used to like his manga, thats all the praise i will ever give him.

Personally I meant no disrespect by saying "Kishi" and I am definitely guilty of doing it a lot.
You do have a point, we don't know him personally and when I meet him at Comic Con NY this year I would never call him that to his face, so I'll try my best to not be so familiar from now on in my posts! :O
After reading the manga and watching the anime and movies for over 10 years I guess I kind of felt like I knew him, or at least his ideas well... but no disrespect was intended I promise! <3

None of you people would call him Kishi to his face that's for sure. But saying it on the net because its easier to type out? Nothing wrong with it.
