Although, even Sasuke's performance against Madara showcases his intellect 100x more than against Naruto.

All Sasuke had to do was pull Naruto in the middle of Indra's arrow and the two RS.
Or simply stand still and Preta Path anything after their Taijutsu battle.
Or Amaterasu again as Naruto was 100% out of Kurama's chakra, and could only make a single Rasengan.
Or Genjutsu after Kurama went to sleep.

Of course, some of these he didn't know would work, but Sasuke isn't the one being fed information about his opponent's abilities by a Bijuu.

Not really, fusing the bijuu chakra was a better feat than what he did against madara.

A better feat of physical prowess, not intellectual skill.

Sasuke lost the second he decided he could physically fight Naruto. Kishi might as well have Shikamaru try to fight Neji in a Taijutsu battle.

They nerfed Naruto by not letting him use any of his strategies. He's countered multiple Rinnegan users before with them and would solo if they didn't dumb him down.

Sasuke displayed no battle tactics at VoTE2. He was acting like Naruto. Just being a brawler. Sasuke should've known that you can't beat a brawler at his own game. Kishi took away his battle senses period!

Sasuke could easily counter Naruto's physical attacks with a blade and could have stabbed him when he had him down to the point that he could get in close to steal some of his 9-tails chakra.

Then Naruto either:
- Takes in the blade as Part One Naruto did with the

Then the one he used against Kiba
Also like the time he beat Neji.
And the one that saved Sasuke and Sakrua against Gaara.

And all the strategies he used to destroy the Pains. And seal the 3rd Raikage, free the Biju,Save the Shinobi alliance and defeat Obito.

Pretty much every fight he was in he used a strat to outsmart his opponent, they had to nerf him badly so he didn't trick Sasuke like all of them.

Naruto doesn't have strategies, he got some tacs(tactics)

Naruto doesn't always plan to know his opponent's weakness or abilities, but he got some goods tactics to best his opponents
Against Pein & 3rd Raikage he got intel on them, all he needed was tacs

Tbh I think Sasuke would have had an advantage in the taijutsu fight, thus explaining why Kishi got rid of it for a fair fight. I like the way things turned out so I'm not complaining, just explaining how I looked at it.

Of course Sasuke is a better taijutsu, look how many shadow clones it took to take out Sasuke or Neji in Part 1 Lol

Sasuke was biting off more than he could ever chew with Madara, regardless of what Madara had on him. There's no point in bringing up what Madara had on him even if it was factor, because Sasuke would've never defeated Naruto at the first VotE fight w/o a SM, let alone last 5min against Deidara and Itachi.

Nearly all his opponent wasn't smart like Sasuke. Therefore all his dumb tricks would be useless in front of Sasuke's eyes. Rinnegan can't see through smoke, but sharingan can. Sasuke can handle senjutsu chakra unlike pain. So really Naruto wouldn't have any trick to fool Sasuke.

I never stated SM was factor
all I pointed is that Sm 1eye rinnegan Madara or 1eye rinnegan Madara(since for you sm wasn't a factor) beasted him
that was the rectification

beside Sasuke was fighting on par with eyeless sm Madara. They were fighting in cqc not even ninjutsu(Sasuke has sword and of course madara has to dodge it or maybe you wanted to see sasuke cutting Madara to pieces)
I don't think madara would have take him easy as he did w/o his rinnegan
