If he would have selected Orochimaru as 4th Hokage...

-Kabuto wouldnt have summoned Madara=no war,no Deaths, neeji would be alive
-Oro would have prevented Uchiha massacre which means Sasuke and Itachi would have stayed close
-Oro would have eliminated the Akatsuki with the power of the leaf=Orochimaru,Danzo,Kabuto,Jiraya,Itachi would neg diff akatsuki including pain and ms obito
-Jiraya would be alive since Oro wouldnt send him alone to pain like tsunade
-Konoha would be the strongest ninja village
-basically no good guys would have died and everyone would have been happy


If Hiruzen didnt make Oro leave Konoha, he would have been somone Konoha needed

Not really. If oro respected his master's choice and cooperated with hiruzen instead of bitting the hand that feeds, all the horrors done by his actions would have been lessened. Then again Oro had his own agenda (immortality) which led to grotesque experiments.

Hiruzen was incompetent. He allowed the situation with the uchiha to get out of hand and did not have the balls to keep them in check. He left a bigger mess than anything oro could ever manage. At the end of the day, oro has servants who for the most part were willing to allow him to experiment with their bodies. Like Karin and Jugo. If hiruzen had selected him before oro grew dark, the outcome for the leaf may have been a whole lot brighter. Oro earnt his lofty status as sanin by fighting for the leaf. They turned their backs on him first.

Itachi wouldn't be that op without his MS...and he got it because shisui decided to suicide. And why did Shisui decide that? Because he thought that the Uchiha coup couldn't be stopped anymore so he left his best friend with his eye & new power.
And Konoha is the strongest village thanks to Naruto.

I agree to some extent but still think it's Hiruzen's fault for pushing Oro away. The line between good and bad is so narrow is NV. Knowing the past about Oro's family, Hiruzen could have been more sensitive about appointing Minato instead of Oro who lived for the job. I also have to say, the rejection was the turning point for Oro.

Nope. Oro choosed to go away because he didn't get his way of becoming hokage, and he still harbors a grudge after some 15+ years. He basically ignored his masters wishes and instead of helping his master he turned against him and attempted to destroy what he left/couldn't be hokage over. Then there is his questionable desire for immortality and willingness to do nearly anything for it.
