A different way of looking at Boruto "surpassing" Naruto

Boruto wants to surpass Naruto, but we all know that without some huge asspull that's not going to happen. So maybe what kishi means is that Boruto will surpass just "Naruto" and not Naruto with his handouts. So Boruto will be stronger than Naruto if he didn't have bijuu and rsm.

Maybe we'll get a scene in the future where Naruto says something like this "Boruto, i'm proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself, you've reached a level I couldn't even dream of without Kurama's and the sages help."

This, to me, is a happy medium. Boruto "surpasses" Naruto but accepts the fact that he can't be stronger than his father, but he realizes that it's something out of his control and by him accepting this we see growth in his character.

Boruto will get his Dad's heirlooms in time so basically he will be on Naruto's level at some point of time and space

Naruto learned all those things and he's a "dropout" kishi is hyping boruto as a prodigy. So yeah I think he'll be stronger than war arc sage mode naruto, bolt will also probably have sage mode to.

That wouldn't make sense, naruto's mother was a jinchuriki and he never became like kin and gin. Making them like kin and gin will prove my point of them getting asspull powers and handouts

Just because Sasuke is bolts master doesn't mean he won't learn ANYTHING from Naruto. Kakashi AND jiraiya taught Naruto, Kakahi AND Oro taught Sasuke. These characters have teachers other than their "masters" we all know the ridiculous advantages sage mode gives i'd be really surprised if he didn't learn it.

Lol, say's the guy who thinks bolt will learn chidori even tho he doesn't have a sharingan or sage sensing, it sounds like you wan't your fave to get countered to death. The only way for bolt to utilize chidori is if he learns sage mode so u better hope he learns it.

Boruto can definitely surpass Naruto but not Naruto and Kurama. If Boruto is really a prodigy and if he's really being trained by Sasuke, then he can certainly surpass his father but not his father and his pet.
