Kishi ruined Sasuke's Character ;)

So Arkham Knight just posted a possible spoiler. Not sure if its true or not but it only helps to show how kishi has ruined Sasuke's character. I was hoping Sasuke did not know about Sarada but from all manga indications so far, this is not true. From the spoiler posted, Sarada is also not satisfied about Sasuke's reason from not being around. And truly, there is no reason he could give to justify his absence.

All through the manga, up until gaiden, Sasuke has been shown to be the one person in the manga who probably had the most love for his family. It's pretty much all that drove him to do all he did. Itachi killed his entire clan and he wanted retribution from them, he loved his family and itachi murdered them. Even after Itachi died and he learnt the truth, I remember that one panel where he was crying and it was actually touching. After learning the truth, he loved his brother all over again, and wanted to get revenge on Konoha for him and the rest of his clan. Then even when he changed his mind, his fundamental reasoning was that he wanted to protect Itachi's legacy(konoha).

Say what you will about him, insanity, bipolar disorder. But the is one thing we could always count on from Sasuke, is his love for his family. He'd solo anyone for speaking badly about his family.

And then gaiden comes along. He has a daughter and he has a wife yet stays away for 12 years for what? A mission? The most powerful person in the NV(don't debate on this, not the point of the thread). Doesn't even recognize his daughter. He has a daughter but prefers to wander around the forest doing god knows what.

I know gaiden is a set up for the movie. And kishi seems to be setting up for Sasuke/Boruto - Naruto/Sarada or whatever. But in the process of doing this. He just ruined one of the best characters in his manga.

Personally, I'll just take gaiden as another canon/filler hybrid( like that last movie).

Do you guys still like Sasuke? or hate him more( Naruto fans).

Maybe when the reasons are revealed, we would feel the same way for Sasuke as we did for Itachi.
Kishi can or will never ruin Sasuke as he is one of the best chars in this manga.

I agree, him not giving any shits about his family all of a sudden? And before Sakura haters jump on me, if he is married to her he would care, and forget about Sakura, he has a daughter now, his own flesh and blood, and he just abandons her after he yearned for his own father's attention?

He was always my fav and always will be, but yea Kishi ruined his character.

What gets to me is that Sasuke has basically become like his Father and Itachi except far worse. He was neglected by them but he's done it to Sarada for 12-13 years? Get real man.

It's not just that. I've been thinking about this for a while. It would seem naruto usually knows where sasuke is, and maybe even sakura. Unless he is in another continent entirely, I would expect him to be able to get from konoha to wherever he needs to be in a day or two with whatever tech he chooses. Being away for 12 years is really inexcusable.

It fits into Sasuke's character. Sasuke was willing to spend eternity being hated and with no close bonds for the sake of the world's peace and stability. He's had self-sacrificial tendencies in the past, so not being with his family and alone and constantly traveling fits into that. Sasuke blurs the line between selfish and selfless, this is just a continuation of that.

It's just an asspull so Sarada can hate him and run to Naruto while Boruto runs with Sasuke. It's BS though.

Eh, not really. He's just being inconsiderate. Until it says Sasuke's absence is completely necessary, you can't call it a worthy enough self sacrifice.

You think he would understand the importance of being there for your family. Not to mention it's not his life he's sacrificing.
