Itachi never trusted Madara. He did his best to keep Sasuke aay from him. He might have wanted the EMS to be transplanted by someone else. You see how Madara gained Sasuke's trust by telling him the truth about itachi and revealing something so sensitive such as the Moon's Eye plan. I think all his plans were directed to keeping Sasuke safe and away from Madara.

It was an awesome chapter for the next one I think there will be a surprise for how to control the kuybi powers it is the powers that Itachi gave to Naruto in the wood I think it will play a vital role .

I pretty much agree with all that. The illness he had was due to overuse of his Mangekyo.

I personally don't agree... I thought that at first... but... It's know that overuse will make you blind, not kill you internally... Even in the Madara flashbacks to him and his brother, Madara only went blind, He seemed to be in pain but not coughing up blood... Itachi was also not sick before he left that power to Naruto..
I may be wrong... but as i said in another post... Naruto just beating everybody and becoming Hokage would be very cliche... I see a twist to make people go WTF!?! ie:Naruto dies in one of the last chapters
He wakes up in a room filled with light, and Itachi pops out.. the talk for a while, then Itachi tells him what the power he gave him was... and sends Naruto back to the living world...

you are right men, what i have in mind is that, this power will counter sasukes offensive power. maybe sasuke will change of his intension when he know that the power (NARUTO) uses to counter that jutsu was given by his brother...
